Week 1.
WEEK 1. As Cynthia had promised, the sun does indeed rise the next morning. Whether you slept or not (and sleeping inside the Pokémon Center you were in before seems totally fine by the attendant), it seems Cynthia kept her word; she left sometime shortly before sunrise, and you haven't been bothered by Team Galactic and those that work for it in the interim. It isn't advisable to return to the headquarters building, however. At least not for the time being. However, a new day does dawn, and with it comes the knowledge that you're in an unfamiliar city, completely on your own. There are several things to be done before you can leave: gathering supplies and provisions, finding maps, obtaining new clothes... Of course, your new "companions" are still with you, and they don't seem willing to leave your side; they'll follow you dutifully, but they still seem...wrong, horribly so, and it doesn't seem to be wearing off. Maybe if you work with them a little...? Try to talk to them, train them, teach them to do things... Who knows? It might do them some good. POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week one of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget that a write-up is due this weekend! Feel free to investigate the city as you see fit this week; we ask only that you try to stagger investigations and be mindful of what's already been checked. If you wish to investigate, notify the mods in your comment subject for your top-level and we'll get on it as soon as possible!] |

God, are you an American or something?
[AMERICANS ARE FUCKING WEIRDOS WHO WEAR SHORTS WHEN IT SNOWS OUT, RIGHT..........]
no subject
...Uh, I play American Football?
[Aha...ha.] But...no.
no subject
[you can hear the condescension dripping off his voice....]
Well, I suppose I know who to look to if we ever need to break a door down.
no subject
[Sena scowls a bit, but it's like staring down an angry puppy. He just doesn't look threatening at all.]
Huh...? But I'm not a lineman... [He's the runningback! You know, the speedy guy who nyooms around the field and tries not to get tackled?]
no subject
no subject
I...know I don't look like the type of guy who'd normally play that kind of sport...

I...kinda was forced into playing for the team. I mean, I was just looking to be the team secretary of the time, but Hiruma had other ideas...
[That memory...is still terrifying, honesty.]
But the more I played, the more I enjoyed it. And now I have teammates that I wouldn't betray for anything, so...even if I had the chance, I probably wouldn't go to the other football team now.
[The players there are club fund sucking jerks, anyway.]
no subject
So you've got Stockholm syndrome. That's very tragic for one so young.
no subject
[No, child. Stockholm.]
What's that supposed to mean?

[He Doesn't Get It.]
no subject
Whatever. Maybe you'll get it someday.
no subject
Okay...?
[What does this dude have against amefuto anyway?]

[Sena...thinks that this guy means it as a compliment? But he sounds so condescending...]
...Actually, my friend, he mistook the football for a rugby ball when we first met...
[You actually raise a good question, though. Why didn't they call this something other than amefuto...?]
no subject
no subject
[That's...true? But this is an American sport, and Americans are weird.]
There's a...kicker?
[Yeah, no. That doesn't work and he knows it.]
no subject

[He can't exactly deny it, though, considering he's the runningback. As in: the guy who runs.]

[He sounds resigned. Okay, he gets it, you don't like amefuto. :T ]
no subject
...
Is that why?
no subject
[He's lost the train of this conversation somewhere.]
