Week 1.
WEEK 1. As Cynthia had promised, the sun does indeed rise the next morning. Whether you slept or not (and sleeping inside the Pokémon Center you were in before seems totally fine by the attendant), it seems Cynthia kept her word; she left sometime shortly before sunrise, and you haven't been bothered by Team Galactic and those that work for it in the interim. It isn't advisable to return to the headquarters building, however. At least not for the time being. However, a new day does dawn, and with it comes the knowledge that you're in an unfamiliar city, completely on your own. There are several things to be done before you can leave: gathering supplies and provisions, finding maps, obtaining new clothes... Of course, your new "companions" are still with you, and they don't seem willing to leave your side; they'll follow you dutifully, but they still seem...wrong, horribly so, and it doesn't seem to be wearing off. Maybe if you work with them a little...? Try to talk to them, train them, teach them to do things... Who knows? It might do them some good. POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week one of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget that a write-up is due this weekend! Feel free to investigate the city as you see fit this week; we ask only that you try to stagger investigations and be mindful of what's already been checked. If you wish to investigate, notify the mods in your comment subject for your top-level and we'll get on it as soon as possible!] |

[Camilla starts getting the materials she'll need ready for her project, though the question gets her to nod her head.]
I have, actually; I would say that I've known how to do so since I was ten years old, and I've only gotten better since. I do embroidery and the like as well.
Is there something else you need assistance with, or is it simply for curiosity's sake...?

[He actually did have an ulterior motive for the question beyond simple curiosity. And since the thought's out there, he follows up on it.]
Can you alter clothes?
no subject
[Either way, Camilla nods her head.]
I can do so, yes. What will you be needing?
no subject
The department store doesn't have any shirts with the cut that I find comfortable. Could you remove the backs from them?
[Um.]
no subject
However, he is talking to a fellow fashion disaster so. She gets it, man, she gets it, let your backless shirts fly free.]
Why, I would be happy to. That should be more than easy enough of a task to accomplish--give them here, and I'll get started once I'm finished with this cute little scarf.
no subject
Still, he seems a little relieved to hear Camilla say yes to the request. He's been managing his current clothes but they're not very comfortable. Comfort is key if he's going to be doing a lot of traveling!]
Thanks. I appreciate it...and I'm sure Rose will too.
[He'll grab the shirts once the scarf if close to completion. Until then...]
Let me know what I can do in return.
[Money's not an issue, so paying Camilla back for her services is kind of off the table.]

[Camilla chuckles, honestly, though it's mostly in jest. The scarf is at least coming along fairly nicely, though; not too thick, but definitely enough to keep Rose's neck stable. She just needs to give it some length...]
Rose is the name of your partner, then? Perhaps it's good that I chose this color, then; it'll match her name splendidly.
no subject
[Maybe he's leaving it really open-ended but as it stands now, he doesn't see a problem with offering to return the favor somehow.
He nods in confirmation to the question of his Mimikyu's name.]
Yeah, guess you're right about that. [He...wouldn't have even considered matching colors to names.] Should be a cute color for her, matching aside.
[He really is curious to see what the scarf will look like on her. Something new to go with her kind of unsettling, ragged costume... It'll be quite the combo.]</small.

[She thinks she's got it, or is at least very close to getting it. It should only take a little while more to get it as long as Camilla wants to, after she spends some of her time adjusting the yarn and knitting up a storm...
Once she's done, however, she'll cut the scarf off from the yarn itself and finish it up--she puts it on Rose gently, and...]
There we are! [It should be perfect--it's big enough to offer the head some support so it doesn't sag, while not being too big as to make movement difficult for her. The color is...definitely an experience, compared to the costume itself, but--] Perfect, wouldn't you say?
I am so sorry I missed that html fail
[He gives Rose the opportunity to move around in it, which she briefly does. With the scarf securely holding her costume's neck, it wobbles much less than it did before. The Mimikyu doesn't have much of a reaction to it herself, but Eustace breathes a sigh through his nose. It's an amused sort of noise.]
It's got charm. [He's referring to how the scarf looks on her. The scarf itself looks great.] And it's doing its job. Thanks, Camilla.
