Week 3.
WEEK 3 The past weekend has given people a lot to take in, and a lot to think about. You're permitted to stay at the resort all day on Sunday, should you so choose; relax and replenish yourselves with regards to sleep at least, seeing as it's much more comfortable than the routes or sleeping on the floor of the Pokémon Center. Commander Saturn is gone as of last night, and no one seems to be coming after you - though there is likely something you'll be aware of by the end of the day... Whatever happens, it's evident that you'll have to leave this place eventually, and Monday should find everyone back on Route 213. It's been repeatedly recommended to move toward Pastoria City; whether you believe the source of said urging to be trustworthy or not, it's still a good idea to move in that direction - a city means supplies, after all, a place to restock and spend a few days. Everyone should be able to find Pastoria City by Tuesday afternoon; it's another unfamiliar place, with various things to see and look at over the course of the next few days. It's far smaller than Veilstone, but it borders up to the ocean by way of a small jetty on the southeastern side of town with a few boats moored to it. Otherwise, it's surrounded by forest, and the main path winds its way lazily through town, weaving between personal residences and a few places of business. Of course, it's still not nearly as lively as it should be; the inhabitants here all seem as devoid of spirit as everywhere else; fortunately, a select few of your companions do seem to be perking up a bit - perhaps that's a good sign, in the end. [ He comes in a little bit earlier here, because he smelled food and it's bound to good. He also has Klefki and Togepi with him because time for feeding and all that stuff.
...He's been also keeping an eye on the former because he's noticed some more liveliness, so that's good for the most part. ]

[It's pretty good curry rice, definitely not the kind to be gobbled down like that! It's to be tasted and enjoyed]

[ He takes some, and passes some to his partners. ]
Do you think it's because he's becoming more lively?
[ Ventus looks at Klefki who is floating around, but when he turns to face the other man his Pokemon occasionally pokes the blond lightly with a key in a way that might be conceived as playful. The boy looks back, which makes the Pokemon stop, and Ventus tilts his head at him. ]

I hope it is. He's starting to have some traits I didn't expect, and I doubt he got them from me.
[Kiryu isn't a slob or anything like that, but it isn't like he spends a lot of time preening and making himself look fancy, unlike a certain bear who is in the vicinity]

[ Ventus grins a little because yes, that is him teasing a bit just because he can. ]

[Kiryu says that with a slight smirk. He sees Ventus is teasing, and he's playing along, yep]
It was more like his interest in looking good at all times -- only when it's about his appearance, because his behavior right now wasn't elegant at all.

[ Kiryu is such a good for playing along. He begins to lightly pat Togepi a little as Klefki has seemed to settle down to just observing. ]
Well, if changes are happening now at least it means that we'll probably see more with the others pretty soon too.

I hope so. Even though Daigo's getting better, the others don't show any signs of improvement yet.
[He's not surprised the Magikarp is as blank as before, but Heracross...by now he should be showing some sort of trait, like Daigo used to after a week, but there's nothing yet]

[ Ventus is sure of that at least. It's probably why Togepi isn't exactly acting like she's excited to be in a new environment and looking pretty blank-slated on her end. ]
Before you know it, you could wake up to one of them sitting on your face in order to wake you up in the morning.
[ If he doesn't keep them in their Pokeballs, anyway. ]

[If he wakes up because that Magikarp is flopping on his face then he's going to wonder how his life got to this point]

[ ... Though it's funny enough to imagine just the one he's seen now sitting on his face trying to wake him up like a cat does. ]
Maybe they'll just poke you when they get bigger, then?
