Week 3.

WEEK 3 The past weekend has given people a lot to take in, and a lot to think about. You're permitted to stay at the resort all day on Sunday, should you so choose; relax and replenish yourselves with regards to sleep at least, seeing as it's much more comfortable than the routes or sleeping on the floor of the Pokémon Center. Commander Saturn is gone as of last night, and no one seems to be coming after you - though there is likely something you'll be aware of by the end of the day... Whatever happens, it's evident that you'll have to leave this place eventually, and Monday should find everyone back on Route 213. It's been repeatedly recommended to move toward Pastoria City; whether you believe the source of said urging to be trustworthy or not, it's still a good idea to move in that direction - a city means supplies, after all, a place to restock and spend a few days. Everyone should be able to find Pastoria City by Tuesday afternoon; it's another unfamiliar place, with various things to see and look at over the course of the next few days. It's far smaller than Veilstone, but it borders up to the ocean by way of a small jetty on the southeastern side of town with a few boats moored to it. Otherwise, it's surrounded by forest, and the main path winds its way lazily through town, weaving between personal residences and a few places of business. Of course, it's still not nearly as lively as it should be; the inhabitants here all seem as devoid of spirit as everywhere else; fortunately, a select few of your companions do seem to be perking up a bit - perhaps that's a good sign, in the end. [Aya is taking a break from the lemonade stand to stretch her legs. When she passes by, she hears the splash and rushes in.]

Are you okay, Sena?

[She's offers a hand up.]

[Thankfully by this time, Vee has pulled Sena out enough that he can brace his hands against the steps leading into the pool. He shakily takes her hand once he can push himself up.]

Ugh... [Give him a second, spitting out like. half a gallon of water.] I'mb bfine... [Pbbfft.] Thanks...

What happened? The sign outside says 'gym', but this looks like a pool...

[oh god, thanks. He gives a pat to Vee once Aya helps him get out, also thanking her for her contribution. Vee doesn't seem to care much about her fur getting wet, although that seems more due to her apathy than anything else.]

I'm wondering the same thing...I pushed open the door thinking it was gonna be like the one in Veilstone, but I musta pushed too hard or something, aha...

[...yeah, that pool is kinda a little close to the door, isn't it? Doesn't this break some kinda safety regulation somewhere?]

Why would there be a pool that close to the door? How weird. Are you all right?

I dunno...maybe this is a gym for swimmers, or something...

[Sena, that's called a "public pool."]

I didn't see anything else since the lights weren't on when I fell in, so... [He laughs sheepishly.] I'm fine, really! Just a little wet...

You would think the sign would say 'pool' or something...

Are you sure? It must have been a shock...

Aha, yeah...actually, who owns this gym? That'd probably explain it...

[I mean, the person who owned the last gym was apparently into mixed martial arts or something? So is this gym owned by a swimmer or something?]

Well, it was definitely a shock...but I'm not hurt or anything! Really!
