Week 3.
WEEK 3 The past weekend has given people a lot to take in, and a lot to think about. You're permitted to stay at the resort all day on Sunday, should you so choose; relax and replenish yourselves with regards to sleep at least, seeing as it's much more comfortable than the routes or sleeping on the floor of the Pokรฉmon Center. Commander Saturn is gone as of last night, and no one seems to be coming after you - though there is likely something you'll be aware of by the end of the day... Whatever happens, it's evident that you'll have to leave this place eventually, and Monday should find everyone back on Route 213. It's been repeatedly recommended to move toward Pastoria City; whether you believe the source of said urging to be trustworthy or not, it's still a good idea to move in that direction - a city means supplies, after all, a place to restock and spend a few days. Everyone should be able to find Pastoria City by Tuesday afternoon; it's another unfamiliar place, with various things to see and look at over the course of the next few days. It's far smaller than Veilstone, but it borders up to the ocean by way of a small jetty on the southeastern side of town with a few boats moored to it. Otherwise, it's surrounded by forest, and the main path winds its way lazily through town, weaving between personal residences and a few places of business. Of course, it's still not nearly as lively as it should be; the inhabitants here all seem as devoid of spirit as everywhere else; fortunately, a select few of your companions do seem to be perking up a bit - perhaps that's a good sign, in the end. POKEMON AVAILABLE: IN CITIES / NEAR WATER SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week three of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget that a write-up is due this weekend!] |

I'm far from most, I simply need to find...my...
[...oh, well that's. She was distracted enough trying to look for her partner but. This. Um. Okay, she was expecting the old man, not this. Bird.]
...I--I beg your pardon?
[what is with this sassy lost bird]

More specifically, towards that observation deck with the binoculars pointing out over the marshlands. Michael's tall; you can see his bright white head bent over a pair of binoculars.
Wow, that's a really sardonic-looking wave he just gave you.]
no subject
Or, well, big rather, since you're probably the oldest out of everyone here by a country mile. Either way, Camilla's look just...flattens, outright, and she trudges over to him--]
Really?
[...Yes, that's how she starts, because. This is absurd as shit, Nohr doesn't have parrots, how the fuck did that bird do that--]
For the record, I am not lost! ...I simply happened to lose someone. That's all.
[that is said in the most indignant manner in the world]
no subject
Who did you lose?
[Meanwhile, Quaver comes to land next to him, and...repeats exactly what Camilla said before, in her voice, but still just as creepy and monotone. Michael offhandedly feeds him a seed from his pocket.]

My little Arion. He blindly went and chased after something he was fighting against, that had decided to run away. Now he's chased it into this marsh, and I haven't the slightest idea of where they've gone...
[It's frustrating, to say the least.]
...Perhaps I am lost, but it's not without reason. Trudging around in this muck is doing me no favors.
no subject
Well, these binoculars are for looking at the "wild Pokemon of the marsh". You can take one of the other ones, see if we can see where he ended up?
See where he ended up.
Ah - thank you, Quaver, we're done now.
no subject
[Just. Give her a bit to get over there, god damn this marsh and all the mud and gunk--
She'll gladly take the other binoculars, though she doesn't happen to see anything out of hers; he'll probably be able to see Arion waaaay out back, where he seems to have finally gotten his hands on that Wooper, and...seems to just be dragging it along by it's tail and whipping it around. While the Wooper just kind of stays there.
...Still, while she's looking--]
Does that bird of yours simply know how to talk in a human voice, or did you manage to teach it such a thing? I must say, it's most...unsettling.

[Michael seems to think it's funny. He scans around as he talks, until...]
I think your dragon is eating an axolotl.
no subject
[...what the fuck is an axolotl.
There is a lot to tackle there, just. Camilla looks up at him like he's got a horn growing out of his head, before looking in that direction--]
...Oh dear gods, he's going to tear that creature to shreds. I'm not altogether certain if I should praise him for his ferocity or scold him to high heaven!
no subject
He's just sort of dragging it around...well, I can see why, it's basically a large squeaky toy full of meat and blood. But it's interesting that he's taking initiative at all.
no subject
I'm quite certain that the only emotion he's learned in our time together is anger...
[...Oh god, yeah, he's going to town on the poor thing. Camilla's pretty sure it's already fainted at this point, and she just kind of. Sighs, aggressively.]
Well, I suppose I'll be going in. If I'm not back within an hour, assume the worst, I suppose.
[Somehow she suspects it doesn't matter to him either way, but worst come to worst, he just sends the bird after her. Maybe.
...And that is the worst case scenario, good god--]
no subject
[I guess that's his way of saying bye? Go get 'em, tiger?
...he may not generally come off like he cares, and he's certainly not taking this outfit in there, but he'll wait around on the observation deck for her.]
