Week 3.
WEEK 3 The past weekend has given people a lot to take in, and a lot to think about. You're permitted to stay at the resort all day on Sunday, should you so choose; relax and replenish yourselves with regards to sleep at least, seeing as it's much more comfortable than the routes or sleeping on the floor of the Pokémon Center. Commander Saturn is gone as of last night, and no one seems to be coming after you - though there is likely something you'll be aware of by the end of the day... Whatever happens, it's evident that you'll have to leave this place eventually, and Monday should find everyone back on Route 213. It's been repeatedly recommended to move toward Pastoria City; whether you believe the source of said urging to be trustworthy or not, it's still a good idea to move in that direction - a city means supplies, after all, a place to restock and spend a few days. Everyone should be able to find Pastoria City by Tuesday afternoon; it's another unfamiliar place, with various things to see and look at over the course of the next few days. It's far smaller than Veilstone, but it borders up to the ocean by way of a small jetty on the southeastern side of town with a few boats moored to it. Otherwise, it's surrounded by forest, and the main path winds its way lazily through town, weaving between personal residences and a few places of business. Of course, it's still not nearly as lively as it should be; the inhabitants here all seem as devoid of spirit as everywhere else; fortunately, a select few of your companions do seem to be perking up a bit - perhaps that's a good sign, in the end. POKEMON AVAILABLE: IN CITIES / NEAR WATER SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week three of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget that a write-up is due this weekend!] |

...right. Good to stay fit.
[ANYWAY FORGET THAT THERE'S KEYS]
Did she grow like that? Or are these actual keys? [He lifts a hand to inspect a key.]

I think it's somehow both? She was like that when I first saw her.
[ Things Ventus never thought were weird but now that he thinks about it they might be just a little.
When Michael goes to inspect a key, the Pokemon suddenly draws a little away and then begins to try to poke at his hand with said key. ]
I thought -- and still think -- that she's the perfect one for me to start off with, though.

You a big key fan?

Mhm, something like that. Actually, back home it's because I had something like a big key called the "Keyblade", and it's something that I'm supposed to have on me now. But with everything that's going on with the powers and stuff...I don't seem to have it right now.
Or I can't really summon it. It's one of the two.

A little more than a sword? But it unlocks or can lock stuff, and can actually do a few more things than a normal sword or key can.
Keyblades are also things that can't be wielded by just anyone.

[ He feels weird about saying it like that, though. Maybe because it makes him think of what Xehanort originally conspired to do with him, and...well, other things. ]
But, there are other people who can wield Keyblades besides me too, so it's not like I would be the chosen one or something like that.

Still, all our magic or whatever is strictly afterlife-related, there's no humans with magic swords running around.

[ ... He is tempted to say even 'from any of the worlds' he's been to, but he is not so sure about that one just yet. ]
...So, if it's afterlife stuff, I guess that means no one would be able to take you in a fight back at your home?
[ He has no idea how that stuff works, because 'afterlife' things sound already pretty heavy to him. ]

Humans? No. They do try, sometimes, before they get used to how things work. Allllways think they'll be the first one to win. [He smiles, something scornful, but then it quirks over into amused instead.] A good friend of mine once tried to stab me with a kitchen knife - back before we were friends, of course. Later on she tried it with a machete, it was all very daring.

[ That's like the possibility of him and Vanitas becoming friends. He doesn't think the pieces will align like that ever, because of the way things had happened, though. ]
