Week 3.

WEEK 3 The past weekend has given people a lot to take in, and a lot to think about. You're permitted to stay at the resort all day on Sunday, should you so choose; relax and replenish yourselves with regards to sleep at least, seeing as it's much more comfortable than the routes or sleeping on the floor of the Pokémon Center. Commander Saturn is gone as of last night, and no one seems to be coming after you - though there is likely something you'll be aware of by the end of the day... Whatever happens, it's evident that you'll have to leave this place eventually, and Monday should find everyone back on Route 213. It's been repeatedly recommended to move toward Pastoria City; whether you believe the source of said urging to be trustworthy or not, it's still a good idea to move in that direction - a city means supplies, after all, a place to restock and spend a few days. Everyone should be able to find Pastoria City by Tuesday afternoon; it's another unfamiliar place, with various things to see and look at over the course of the next few days. It's far smaller than Veilstone, but it borders up to the ocean by way of a small jetty on the southeastern side of town with a few boats moored to it. Otherwise, it's surrounded by forest, and the main path winds its way lazily through town, weaving between personal residences and a few places of business. Of course, it's still not nearly as lively as it should be; the inhabitants here all seem as devoid of spirit as everywhere else; fortunately, a select few of your companions do seem to be perking up a bit - perhaps that's a good sign, in the end. Yep, it sure is, and it's no problem at all. Let me know how it tastes!

[ Well, he's starting to notice both of the Pokemons' interest in the treat, so now he's going to unveil some more popsicles from his bag, because of course he had more than two. ]

Do you guys want some too?

[ He's looking at the Lickitung and the Beldum with a smile on his face. ]

That's kind of you, I'll have to repay you.

[ She gives a look to the Lickitung though and she gently reminds her, through the look... But Lickitung ... uh. Well, it doesn't have an expression. It's just blank and then doesn't - care. But it does loop out it's tongue to collect out the ice cream. The Beldum is more hesitant, but its eye is more interested! ]

That's okay, you don't really need to repay me or anything.

Just knowing you had a chance to try something new and enjoyed it is good enough for me.

[ Now, he notes the hesitation and holds out the other popsicle for Beldum. ]

It's okay. You can have it. Here, take it.

I'll hold that, if you want. Miphanus doesn't have arms, after all.

[ She still hasn't put her own in her mouth yet, but he holds out her free hand to hold the other popsicle if he wants! After all, Beldums can't hold things... ]

[ventulus]

Oh, yeah.

[ ... That sure is one sheepish look coming from him at that, and he hands her another popsicle. This time it's watermelon flavored. ]

Silly me, right?

[ This does see her with two full hands so hopefully that was unwrapped first! That said, she holds it out for Miphanus, who moves it eye up to it and... sucks. Sucking in a lot of fluids and perhaps a little bit of a of the physical thing into the eye to eat it. Or maybe it's the spot next to it? Either way, that's better than the Lickitung who has devoured the whole thing and the stick in one go.

She's got her own held up here. ]

...I didn't even think about how the Pokemon would even be able to eat -- though it looks like your Miphanus managed somehow...

[ The Beldum he means. Soon, he's sat himself down to continue enjoying his treat. ]

But, these guys never cease to stop surprising me.

My Lickitung here never seems to stop eating... but as for Miphanus, they eat through their eye, I think? I've yet to work out how it works.

[ . . . She should really try her own? At least it's not. Hot so it's not melting much. ]

[ventulus]

I definitely have no idea how it works with that guy either.

[ He pauses, and looks over to see she hasn't tried hers yet. ]

Are you going to give yours a try?

Oh, right, of course!

[ I mean she was holding up Miphanus's still but let's... try hers and- ]

-Oh! It's so sweet!

[ventulus]

[ Oh, right. Maybe he should've helped her, but then again he was holding his too...it would have been silly looking for sure, though.

And he's happy to see that she likes it. ]

See? It's pretty good, even if you're not having them in hot weather.

No, it really would be! So cold, and sweet... like fruit flavored snow?!

[ W o w ]

[ Okay he can't help but laugh a little at that. ]

That's definitely another way of putting it, but still pretty accurate I think.

It's so densely packed, too!

[ As opposed to licking, she shifts her arm holding the one up for Miphanus to rest her elbow on her side and then holds the ice cream in her mouth to suck on it more directly... but then starts a little Ow! That hurt her teeth a little. ]
