Welcome.
AWAKENING. You're asleep, and the first thing you're aware of is the pulse. It comes quickly, flooding through your system and jolting you awake; the room you're in is dimly-lit but the bed you're in is soft, and while all of this is jarring you'll soon become rather aware that you aren't going through this alone. The room you're in is lined with beds not unlike the one you're in; you'll be able to hear other people stirring, coming awake as they respond to the pulse too, and... ...And it will soon become evident that whatever just happened, something is wrong. Whatever your response may be to waking up in a low-lit room full of people is going to be highly amplified, the emotion rubbing your nerves raw in a way that makes you feel like you're experiencing it for the first time, and whenever you manage to sit up, you'll feel something...strange on your head, tickling the sides of your face, and as you turn your head a little you'll catch a glimpse of an odd, synthetic-looking green. A wig...? Your clothes, too, are different from whatever you remember last (because whatever you remember last, it wasn't this room, it wasn't this place - ); they feel warm, designed to withstand cold weather, and if you throw the blankets off at any point (or even just pause to look beneath them) you'll be greeted with an outfit made of thick material that's alternating parts black and white and glossy silver, with an emblem inscribed on the chest - a G inscribed in gold and black. Whatever's happening here, you aren't given much time to dwell on it; everyone here seems about as confused as you are. There are twenty-four of you in the room altogether, and you're all going through the same thing; whatever you're experiencing, the door is closed, so at least you're experiencing it in relative privacy. For now. It isn't long before a voice can be heard, soft but agitated-sounding, as though trying very hard to not awaken everyone in the building; it sounds like a man, and you can hear his footfalls pause just outside your door as he speaks to someone else, voice soft and androgynous. "And you're sure they're gone?" "Yes, Commander." "And don't you think something should be done about that...?" "Right away, sir." With that, the man and whomever he was speaking to can be heard parting ways, one moving rapidly down a corridor and the other pausing, shifting a bit before eventually moving on himself. You have several options. I. You can sit here for a while and get to know each other, seeing as none of you know what happened. That might be a good idea, all things considered, and as long as the door remains closed there's no rush. It's the middle of the night, after all, and it isn't as though anyone is going to come looking - despite the urgent conversation outside, there isn't any alarm going off, nor is there any reason for most of the building to be on high alert. II. You can explore the building. Should you do that, you'll find several winding corridors leading to what look like dorms, with several rooms containing sleeping people and areas such as formal break rooms; exploring a little further will let you find conference rooms and other large, empty spaces that don't seem to have much of a purpose. There are signs and notices in several places referring to "Team Galactic" and its protocol, all adorned with the same emblem that's on your clothes. Some of these corridors also lead to doors that are, unfortunately, locked and staying that way; some of them lead to people dressed exactly like you, bizarre wig and all. They seem to be a little strange, however; they'll greet you, and they'll speak to you if spoken to, but they look odd and dead behind the eyes and there's not much to their answers, and asking them about preferences or any personal information will just net you a blank stare. It's going to be a long strange journey through the building, but at least you're traveling light; you don't seem to have any belongings with you - save for the outfit you woke up in and the red and white capsule attached to your belt... III. You can also pause to try to figure out what's going on with those capsules. They each contain something very important to you, after all - a creature that seems to have been assigned to you specifically. They don't seem to have anything on them indicating a name or another person that owns them, at any rate, so it's probably safe to assume it's yours. That said, something seems decidedly wrong with it - it seems alarmingly apathetic, the look in its eyes dull and resigned as opposed to alert and emotive, and while it's willing to follow you (it's almost a bit too willing to follow you, it will stay close by your side in the manner of a dog trained to heel if you try to walk away from it) it doesn't seem to be due to any sort of genuine affection. [Upon awakening, the young man with the prominent facial scars ditched the wig rather quickly, running a hand back through his hair. These clothes felt all wrong, too light to be the coat of the Kingsglaive. And this place...he knew where it wasn't, and it certainly wasn't Hammerhead. He was silent at first, listening to the conversation outside; once that fell silent, he called out in a quiet, cautious voice:]

[Once it was clear there was no immediate threat and he'd had a chance to investigate the capsule on his belt, Ignis took to examining the building as best he could with an Absol close beside him. He occasionally had one hand on the wall to guide himself when he wasn't listening to the creature's motions as an indication on where to go, and seemed to be concentrating on working out some kind of floor plan of the area.]

[It's not the first time, or even the third time, Bucky has woken up without realizing he's fallen asleep, but waking up to green hair in his face, he makes a noise not unlike a strangled cry, ripping it one-handed from his head, letting it drop to the ground.
It's done one-handed because taking one look at him will make something immediately clear: he doesn't have a left arm. The uniform's sleeve hangs limp from his shoulder.
He looks down at himself, and anyone looking carefully will notice how quickly he goes from looking troubled and confused to shutting down completely. He stands up, very deliberately and clearly takes in the people around him, and then walks away very carefully, throwing the blanket around his shoulder.
Yeah, this one doesn't seem all that interested in talking.

[It takes him a long while to make himself look at the strange looking device on his belt, picking it up, weighing it curiously in his hand. He finally clicks the button, and look on in fascination, and then in what is clearly abject horror as a strange, partially green, goat looking creature emerges from the ball. He takes one more look at the thing before tossing it to the other side of the room, and stooping down into a crouch to pet the goat, like he's trying to soothe a frightened animal.
It doesn't get any response at all, and that only seems to bother him further.]

[You know, the last thing she remembers is getting her rear end handed to her by her darling sister and trying to think of how she was going to face her own death by her father's hands. It's...something else entirely, waking up and dealing with an unfamiliar room entirely. The emotions flooding through her come out a little too easily, irritation and dread making themselves all too apparent on Camilla's face. It's taking all of the woman's willpower to not simply rip the wig off and try to stomp her way out.
Of course, it's going to take a little longer than anticipated, but once Camilla gets up off of her bed, she is going to be making her way to another person--very likely you--to try and stir up some kind of conversation. May as well get to know one another.]
I trust that you haven't the slightest idea of what is going on either? I must say, this whole situation...it's exceedingly dreadful, and perhaps we should have a word with whomever is in charge...if at all possible, of course.
[It's elegant, practiced, and though her expression seems to be smiling, it's hiding a storm behind it for sure.]

[Otherwise...well, she is going to check out what's going on with those capsules at some point after getting herself acquainted. She can't say she's expecting a fairly large black and blue creature to come out and greet her, but she can almost instantly be found cooing over it! So much for that elegant composure.]

[Of course, it...gets a rather blank sort of body language from the Pokemon in question. The pause is a little awkward, to say the least, and the creature just kind of stays where it is while Camilla finds a way to lift it up. It's heavier than it looks, but Camilla lifts axes to fight. It's cool.]

[There are probably several things that should be going through Yuri's mind right now, but the first thought is why am I under the blankets because Yuri Lowell is not a sane person and sleeps on top of the blankets just like most Tales characters.

After wandering the building for a bit and figuring out that the red and white ball somehow contains a dog, Yuri's parked on the floor of the room he woke up in, just sort of watching everyone come and go. The dog is sitting beside him, though she doesn't look very interested in what's going on around her.]

[To say that Aya woke up with a start would be an understatement. She sits straight up and gasps, frantically looking around the room. She doesn’t recognize anything or anyone else, and she’s wearing some sort of strange costume. It’s a little too much for her, and tears form at the corners of her eyes. After a long moment, she gets up and starts walking around the room.]

[After a little while, Aya decides to take a closer look at the red-and-white capsule at her waist. She doesn’t really mean to press the release button, but she manages it. She can’t help but smile at the cute, pink creature that pops out.]

[Okay, so this is the worst fucking game of You Wake Up In A Room that Jake's ever seen. While he's about nine thousand percent not here for this stupid-ass outfit, at least it seems warm, and that's better than the previous few times he's played this game; the wig, however, can go straight to hell and it's staying on the floor where he left it. If anyone asks, he lost it somehow, who knows.
It becomes obvious pretty early on that no one's going to ask.
The first time he runs into one of the blank-eyed weirdos is in one of the break rooms - or at least, he finds out it's one of the break rooms after he kicks the door in like an absolute savage, sending the thing banging loudly against the wall as it opens and revealing someone who's way too apathetic about this turn of events for his own good. Jake stops for a moment when he sees the guy, just staring at the dead-eyed abyss while said abyss stares back over a cup of coffee, and he's way too calm about all of this and the whole thing just screams of "I don't like it" being the only sane response, and after a moment the guy moves to put the coffee down and manages to send it crashing to the floor as he does it while trying to not take those damn eyes off of Jake.
The noise it causes is loud. Jake's reaction is purely spinal, firing off before his brain has any say.
...Those of you that hear the crash that ensues can find Jake with a Galactic grunt on the floor, pinned down by Jake's knee planted on his chest, and he looks like he's about to punch the shit out of the guy with the sole thing stopping him being the fact that the damn grunt hasn't changed expression. He's just...looking at him, and all that his face is providing is "this might as well happen", and it's weirding Jake out on such a fundamental level that he can't even bring himself to hit him.]
What the fuck is your problem?
[It's loud and weirdly kind of desperate; come on, man, react or something...]

[You know what, okay. Okay, there's an open area over here and no one seems to be swarming the place yet, weird though that is, and as such Jake is taking a minute to crouch down with his back against the wall, toying with that capsule between his fingers for a moment before pressing the button and deploying it.
Thankfully, it's not an explosive? That would have been bad.
What it does end up giving him, though, is a lizard with a thousand-yard stare, which is creepy as hell - or at least, it would be, were it not for the- ]

[There's Kiryu, approaching. He was trying to get a different grunt to say something, and then there's this noise. When he turns around another grunt is pinned to the floor, about to be beaten up by some madman. This can't be let allowed to happen]
They must be the same than the rest of us -- disoriented and trying to make sense of all this. I doubt getting his face punched's going to be of much help.

[Sena doesn't actually notice the capsule attached to his waist until he accidentally knocks it off during one of his dashes down the hall. He picks it up sheepishly, looking it over...and then accidentally presses the button on it, releasing the Chimchar inside and making him jump.]

[That's a monkey! A monkey that's on fire! That's exactly the kind of thing Hiruma would somehow come up with for some kind of hellish training which would involve this monkey breathing hoops of fire and then they'd have to jump through them while also getting chased by Cerberus, and if they got even a single scorch mark on their clothes, Hiruma would-

Um... [He kneels down.] Are you, uh...okay? [It doesn't answer. He'd almost feel like he's talking to Shin, but even with Shin's stoicness there was some kind of intensity to it. He's not getting anything from this...monkey thing.]
Er... [He looks up at the closest person.] What is that...?

[Rin's a bit slow to wake up, but it doesn't take long with all the shouting. What's...? Even feeling addled from sleep, the unfamiliarity of the situation is as jarring as an ice cube down her back. This isn't her home, and this definitely isn't what she was wearing before. Like many of the others, that wig is being pulled right off, though she keeps a handle on it. What on earth is going on?
This is the part where she'd probably be demanding questions, but from the arguing going on, it becomes quickly apparent that no one here has a clue what's happening either. Lips pressed into a frown, Rin watches them warily before slinking off to a corner of the room, fingers tapped lightly to her temple.]
Saber. [Her voice is a whisper.] Can you hear me...?
(II. sneaking around)
[So she probably stayed around to chat a little, and presumably long enough to figure out what's up with that capsule on her belt by watching everyone else because there's now a Mienfoo by her side. She's... not sure what to make of the creature. Something about it feels empty, but it's pretty intent to stay close to her, almost on top of her heels. That raises a lot of red flags, but it doesn't seem threatening either... Well, she'll just keep a close eye on it for now. There are other problems at hand.
After stumbling onto the dorms and the people sleeping with in them, she takes some time to put her wig back on, huffing and muttering under her breath the whole time. "How did it even fit before??" Honestly, she has too much hair for this. Michael snatches the wig off his head and grimaces down at it in disgust, but otherwise stays tense and quiet until the voices are gone. None of this makes any sense, but freaking out about it is not going to help. No matter how much he feels like freaking out, he's over-reacting.
So: whatever this is, they've all been put in this room by somebody, and so Michael wants very badly to get them out. It's them for now, because even if he doesn't know any of these humans crowding up the place, they're all in the same boat. That probably sort of makes them his problem? No, no, it definitely does. He should at least try.
Kinda a lot of them, though. Maybe he'll pick a few to prioritize, if it comes to that, or at least find some he can trust to help figure this out. He points to somebody at random:]

[Having already failed to find an exit and explored several conference rooms instead, Michael decides to engage a Team Galactic member!
He seems to have put the wig back on for the encounter, maybe figuring that blending in is a better tactic. But it doesn't make any difference; his attempt to charm some information out of one woman seems to be falling spectacularly flat, and he's becoming visibly irritated. Eventually, noticing someone else who's not some kind of creepy mannequin, he makes a short excuse and stalks over.]
Team Galactic...more like Team Lobotomy. We're better off trying to get one of those doors open ourselves.

As Morag feels panic welling up within her, she throws off the bed sheets and turns to stand up. She needs to put her mind to some task before she loses it. And that's when she spies the capsule. She halfway doesn't expect anything to happen when she clicks the button, which makes the appearance of a small, orange bird all the more surprising. Newly awakened, it doesn't speak, or move, it just stares at her. Is this a Blade? There's clearly something wrong with it.]

[It doesn't, obviously. Every moment that passes just fills her with more questions and she assumes the others in this room don't have answers. She heads for the door, aware that the little bird is following behind her. No harm in allowing that, she supposes.]

[When Rey awakens, it's not the environment she's in that registers first, nor is it the new outfit or the bizarre wig. It's the fact that, with her awakening, something incredibly important to her seems to have returned to slumber.

[The room is sterile, cold and grey - she doesn't like the answer her thoughts lead her to. The First Order. Could they have captured her, done something to her to cut her connection to the Force? Where were all her companions? The Falcon? What had happened to Finn, to Poe, to Leia? Did Ben-Kylo Ren, he wasn't Ben anymore, he'd shown her that-catch up to her? Was this his revenge?

[If you happen to be wandering through...whatever the hell this place is, you may find Rey squatting down in front of what looks like...a very strange robot. She's pulled off her wig; it's lying on the floor beside her, and she's currently running her hands along the body of the robot, a quizzical expression on her face.]
I've never seen tech like this...what sort of droid are you....
[The droid doesn't seem all that inclined to answer her question, instead choosing to remain still and simply say 'Golett' in a deep, monotonous-but strangely un-robotic-voice. That doesn't seem to help much, though; if anything, Rey's brow furrows further.]
I've never heard your language before. Are you sure you don't speak Binary?

[The moment Eustace awakens and realizes this is definitely not place he remembers falling asleep, he practically bolts out of his bed and reaches for something at his hip that...he comes to realize isn't even there. In fact, it's been replaced by something else entirely.
His expression was already sullen enough by whatever discovery he just made, but then he takes notice of the uncomfortable outfit he doesn't remember accepting at any point and...whatever the fuck is on his head. How thoughtful of his captor to cut holes in the wig for his large animal-like ears. However, Eustace himself is far less appreciative. His wig joins the many others on the floor.
He goes still after this, surveying his surroundings and taking in the fact that he's part of a group of unfamiliar people. Unfamiliar...panicked and agitated people... This is absolutely stifling to the point that he almost looks visibly uncomfortable.
Unless he's approached or stopped, he's one of the first to exit the room and begin searching the building for those people they heard talking not too long ago. Maybe he'll find his gun along the way.]

[Once he's out in the halls, Eustace turns to the object he found at his side that has seemingly replaced his gun for the time being. Tech is still relatively new thing in the skydoms, but he's had the privilege to get to work with some of the latest in the Society. Thus, it doesn't take him very long to get his Pokeball to activate.
What he doesn't expect it to do is release a monster.
That said, feel free to come across Eustace assuming a stance like he's prepared to fight the poor little apathetic...whatever this thing is...
Alternatively, later on Eustace can be found searching the building with his newfound pet monster at his side. He looks like he's trying not to pay attention to it, but it's weirding him out. Everything about this is weirding him out, but you know. Details.]

[... Well. This is suddenly a lot to take in all at once. Sure, Ari has had strange things happen to him before, but this is on a whole other level, and when he first wakes and sits up, he stays silent. Even if someone might be willing to talk with him, he's not even sure what to say or ask here: judging by what he's observed of everyone else's reactions so far, they appear to be just as lost as he is, so what would be the point?
Still, he will at least get up and walk after about twenty minutes of just sitting and looking around, leaving to explore. Doing so doesn't make the building any more familiar to him though, and when he comes across others dressed like him, he does try to talk with them... only to be met with silence and blank stares. Actually, if anything is familiar, it's that oddly enough. It reminds him almost of himself, or of the responses he sometimes got from other people, but usually they would eventually laugh and go "Ari, you're so funny" or "Sorry, were you saying something just now?", but these people don't even do that. It's kind of unnerving.
He ends up coming back to the room he first woke up in and sitting on the edge of the bed, at a bit of a loss. If anyone wants to try to talk to him first though, they're more than welcome to do so--despite appearances, he's not emotionless like those other strange people in the building, we swear.]

[Eventually he takes notice of that strange capsule at his belt here, and he starts playing with it in his hands here until he sees the button and pushes it. He was absolutely not expecting a creature to be inside of this thing though, and it definitely causes a shocked reaction of falling back on his butt here.]
A monster... ?
[Except... huh. This looks like a floating pair of gears. With eyes. He's never seen one that looked like that before, though it almost reminds him of the little gears that he had collected during his journey back home.
Even so, there are a lot of creatures that will attack and even try to kill you back home, and even though this one hasn't moved to strike, experience gets Ari's feet back up, looking around for a moment. A weapon, or something to defend himself with just in case...
... He ends up grabbing a broom from a closet, so now there's this teenage boy holding a broom in a defensive stance while carefully watching this strange gear-shaped creature. Because he totally doesn't look ridiculous doing something like that.]

[ The wigs are strange, and the costumes are even more strange, but the whole thing going on here is just so curious that Chitanda can't help but feel a little bit of a thrill welling up inside as she pokes around the building. Perhaps she doesn't quite grasp the severity just yet, or perhaps she's just that eager to get to the bottom of it, but this maze of a building is really grabbing her interest; it's not like any other situation she's ever been in before, and the wave of unfamiliarity that she's been slammed with here...

[ Chitanda can be found in a break room with her poor Pumpkaboo; though it's cute as a button, there's something about the way it looks at her that feels...well, it's familiar.
The creature she's making eye contact with here appears quite lazy and unmotivated; it lets Chitanda inspect it without complaint or even much of a reaction, but when she leaves it to its own devices, it doesn't do much of anything. Truly, it's a creature that has dedicated itself to conserving its energy in any way it can, and there's something about that which can't help but stir a certain feeling in her.
"If I don't have to do it, I won't. If I have to do it, I'll do it quickly." If this pumpkin could speak, Chitanda gets the feeling that that's what it would say. And perhaps she's just projecting, but... ]
I get the feeling we'll get along just fine, little one.

"The Team Galactic nap room! Ensure the bed is unoccupied before getting into it!"
[ Chitanda reads aloud, from a peculiar sign dangling just above an empty bed. Well, that just...seems like it'd go without saying, wouldn't it? But then again, in a strange situation like this one, we can't go discounting any possibilities. Perhaps there have been incidents in the past, where team members have been so drowsy that they crawled into bed with a napping co-worker...the thought of that is so silly that Chitanda can't help but giggle. It's just absurd!
...Then again, on the other hand, if all of the little creatures here are as lazy as hers is, perhaps it's not people that the warning is concerned with. And rather than a Team Galactic member, the idea of shuffling your way under the covers and flopping over onto one of these little darlings...
Well, that's far more of a cause for concern. We wouldn't want any of these little guys getting squished! And most of the people she's passed by here look so tired...surely, this is a matter that warrants investigation! She sets down her Pumpkaboo and sets out to work, gingerly lifting sheets up off of the beds and peeking under the covers in search of any new friends she can find... ]
