WEEK 4 Backtracking may not seem like an ideal situation, especially not given the situation on Sunday morning, but it isn't without reason or merit; after all, Lake Valor is within a reasonable distance, and perhaps more importantly, there's reason to believe that something may be there. Whether it's one of the Guardians you seek or something else entirely has yet to be seen; there's only one way to know for sure, however. So back onto Route 213 it is; you should reach Route 214 by Tuesday afternoon, and the entrance to Lake Valor by Thursday night; you may want to wait to explore the lakefront proper during the morning, however. Who knows what you may run into... You've seen at least some reasons to not give up hope as you left Pastoria; for the time being, let that hope give you strength. [Don't worry, it's not anything dangerous! Eventually you'll find a pearl buried in the sand! It's not particularly large, but it's definitely real!]

[Chelsea pulls it out and dusts it off, thanking whatever gods are still roaming around with all their emotions intact that it wasn't an angry Krabby or something. It takes some shuffling to fit this into her bag with the egg, but she manages it. Time to sell this in the next town.]

[Good job, Chelsea! Are you going to call it quits here or do you want to keep exploring?]

[Might as well keep digging around! There could be more stuff in here.]

[It's certainly a possibility! Are you checking the area nearby where you found the pearl or are you moving further up or down the beach?]

[Gonna go down the beach, since something that washed up would probably be closer to the water.]

[Are you still digging in the sand with the stick? Like before, there doesn't seem to be anything interesting visually.]

[Yes, sifting around and poking the sand in hopes of finding anything interesting.]

[Your efforts will eventually produce a result - once again your stick is going to hit something hard beneath the sand!]

[Score. Gonna dig down around there and hope that is also not just a Krabby or something.]

[Once again, you're in luck! It's not a Krabby, it's another pearl! It's also small, but definitely real!]

[Putting that in the bag as well, then! Is there anything else of note around here?]

[Actually, yes! Now that you're a bit further down you might see something shiny buried in the sand nearby... You might have to dig it out, though.]

Whoa! What's that thing?

[She'll dig around it to try and get the Mystery Object out and hope that it's not too big to carry.]

[Don't worry, you can still carry it! At first glance it looks like the other pearls you've picked up, but once you've got it out of the sand you'll realize this is bigger! Congratulations, you've found a big pearl!]

[Yay! Time to hoard this, too. Well, until they find a place where she can sell all this stuff.]
