Week 6.
WEEK 6 One thing is going to be made abundantly clear this week: the routes you're traveling are cold. Through Monday night, you'll likely find it best to skirt around the foot of that massive mountain that lies immediately to the east of Eterna City; it looks treacherous, and while some of you may be up to the trip, it's probably best to not waste your energy before you get anywhere near Lake Acuity. The journey is going to be a long one before you get there, but the first few days will see you making good time, actually. Between that and the noticeable changes to the world, maybe it won't be so bad...? ...Or not. Tuesday morning and beyond is where the hell sets in for those of you that aren't used to or don't like the cold. The routes are full of perpetual snowfall; it isn't heavy, given the time of year, but the fact of the matter is that it's still coming down, and the snow is piled up directly on the route clear up to the average person's waist. It makes traveling slow going, though if you have a fire-type it might be feasible to clear a bit more of a path - be careful with that, though, because all the runoff has to go somewhere, and it's possible that you'll just make the path icy in the end. Either way, it's cold, due to the snowfall you're going to be wet, and traveling is going to be very, very slow; here's hoping whatever's at that lake is worth it, in the end. ...Wherever the lake may actually happen to lie; no matter where you look on the way to Snowpoint City, you won't find an entrance to it... POKEMON AVAILABLE: MOUNTAINS/ELEVATED AREAS / SNOWY TERRAIN SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week six of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! [Which she still literally did. But you could just as well say Michael had received a box of trash - anything can be sentimental, he guesses.]
Still like to know what the hell any of that was about. We literally took a secret portal to Eterna, and Cynthia just knew exactly where we'd gone?

You know, at this point I am so used to being pursued by people with completely bullshit resources that it didn't strike me as weird.

[Nobody else seemed to think it was odd either?]
I just - what is her deal? She couldn't even be bothered to show her face this time? I don't like it.
no subject
If I'm not, I don't like it either. I don't trust her any more than I do the others around here.

[Good thing! That person isn't here!]
I guess there's not much we can do about it right now. This might be hypocritical of me, just on a personal level, but if this is some half-assed con I'm gonna be mad.

Honestly, if it is a con, I'm offended that she isn't working harder at it. When I was pretending to be a kind guardian angel - I did that for a while, long story - I at least bothered to look like I was putting a lot of active effort into helping people. Sort of like that standoff she had with Saturn, but more consistent.

[He probably shouldn't be rooting for their enemies (hypothetically?) to have better work ethic, but he sort of feels strongly about this?]
At least she brought me something fun this time. Human Starter Kit - I got it from my human friends. It's sort of...well, it's like that. [Nodding at the dollar. He means that it's utterly useless here but full of sentimental value, but those aren't words he's really dying to put out there if he can side-step it.]

Sorta good to have it anyway, yeah?

[.......there's like two seconds of contemplation, and then he pulls one of those cheap corporate-branded stress balls out of his coat pocket.]
Lonely Girl Margarita Mix stress ball - never leave home without it!

Good to see your friends know how to take care of you.

Part of being human. You get some useless junk, and you cart it around forever for some stupid silly reason.
[You know, like the ones he has now.]
I've got some car keys, too. Kiryu thinks losing them about three more times would fill up some kind of human quotient.
