Week 6.
WEEK 6 One thing is going to be made abundantly clear this week: the routes you're traveling are cold. Through Monday night, you'll likely find it best to skirt around the foot of that massive mountain that lies immediately to the east of Eterna City; it looks treacherous, and while some of you may be up to the trip, it's probably best to not waste your energy before you get anywhere near Lake Acuity. The journey is going to be a long one before you get there, but the first few days will see you making good time, actually. Between that and the noticeable changes to the world, maybe it won't be so bad...? ...Or not. Tuesday morning and beyond is where the hell sets in for those of you that aren't used to or don't like the cold. The routes are full of perpetual snowfall; it isn't heavy, given the time of year, but the fact of the matter is that it's still coming down, and the snow is piled up directly on the route clear up to the average person's waist. It makes traveling slow going, though if you have a fire-type it might be feasible to clear a bit more of a path - be careful with that, though, because all the runoff has to go somewhere, and it's possible that you'll just make the path icy in the end. Either way, it's cold, due to the snowfall you're going to be wet, and traveling is going to be very, very slow; here's hoping whatever's at that lake is worth it, in the end. ...Wherever the lake may actually happen to lie; no matter where you look on the way to Snowpoint City, you won't find an entrance to it... [ "overstate" might not be the right word. Either way, she steps forward a little too, distracted by the Beldum, as the Onix is struggling to hit the Sneasel, even as it is slashing at them and trying to do some damage beyond the Icy Wind. That said, as she does get closer, with a roar, the Onix...
Finally seems to give up a little, lowering it's body and head. The Icy stings too much. ]

[They don't seem to be in any real danger, but Sena darts out from their watching spot anyway. A few moments later, his Pokemon follow after him.
That doesn't stop him from flinching in surprise as the Onix seems to give up, though...its head is coming a little too close for comfort...] Heeeh...

Miphanus has already called out a curious challenge! To the Sneasel! ... Which turns to face to Beldum with a blank looks before... drawing out its claws.

[ she decides as she rushes into position in time to have the Sneasel blankly come up to try and scratch at the eyeball. ... Which won't do much to its steel hide. ]

Then is covered in light. In a bright flash, one moment it is a Beldum before in the next moment it makes a new sound and is in a moment much, much larger. You could even say a little over double the size, with what was once its body now more like arms. The now Metang sort of seems awed at itself, and Zelda is too, hurriedly taking out the Sheikah slate to get some photos of it because, ]

I mean, it can if the Sneasel flees, which it is. It decides it didn't care enough for this, disappearing into the trees as both Zelda and Miphanus look at its new arms excitedly. ]

Hey, maybe now that they're bigger and stronger, they can use more moves other than just tackling now?
[Like punching! A-a-and tackling, but with extra metal! And scratching!]

Waves an arm! And in so doing lifts up... a bit of a tree branch that the earlier fight had knocked up! It floats it up as with telekinesis. Using Confusion, it then psychically begins to implode or compress a little!
It glows blue as it does. And Zelda claps. ]

We're all getting stronger...there's a lot of evolutions happening this week, isn't there?

[ but the "all" honestly is beside the point because right now it is locking "hands" with Miphanus here?! She bounces a little and it tries as gently as possible to not lock its claws on her painfully. Still, it's a joyful moment. ]
