Week 9.

WEEK 9

The one thing Team Galactic seems to have done right in this world is perfecting teleportation technology.

The device Maylene gave Rey will get all of you back to Eterna City easily; from there, it's a matter of very briefly stocking up on supplies on Sunday before you move westward, away from the massive, imposing form of Mount Coronet and into the deep shadows of Eterna Forest.

During your brief stay in Eterna City, it's likely that you'll notice a few things have changed, as far as both the people and the Pokémon go; this holds true as you make your preparations and disappear into the forest on Monday. It's heartening, maybe, to know that once again your actions seem to have made a difference; meanwhile, the trip to Lake Verity looks to be a long one, but it isn't entirely insurmountable.

The forest itself is large and dark, covered high overhead with a thick canopy of trees; the Pokémon here are plentiful, which likely cuts down on any inherent creepiness to the place - whether that's a good or a bad thing depends entirely on your point of view. Either way, it's going to be quite the adventure trying to make your way through; here's hoping that your luck continues to hold over the coming week...

CURRENT LOCATION: ETERNA FOREST
POKEMON AVAILABLE: PLAINS/FOREST

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week nine of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget that a write-up is due this weekend!]

[ It's definitely a good reason to be proud for! ]

Well, it's good that it worked out. It looks like a lot of some evolutions come from just being in the middle of a fight...

[ ... Which he didn't quite know yet. He's seen one or two but not one in the middle. ]

Are you going to do something to celebrate?

Celebrate?

[Does she look like someone who knows how to party? You had to teach her what s'mores are.]

I suppose I could give them some extra food for supper.

Yep, like streamers and all.

[ Morag, Ventus would gladly teach you how to party as well. ]

But I think something like that sounds good too. I kind of hope that one of my Pokemon evolve too, because that kind of looked cool.

Streamers.

[Please help her.]

It... was rather impressive, wasn't it? I only wish I had a better understanding of it.

Yeah! You can hang them up to help decorate places when parties happen. One of the best things is when party horns are blown and confetti is thrown around because then everything gets colorful for a moment. And maybe a little loud.

[ Oh boy...

Ventus makes a mental note of checking the mart for any party items before the week's over... ]

So far, it looks like Pokemon can evolve in other situations too, like even when they're not in battle.

[ He saw that when Ari's Pokemon evolved. So he guesses it depends on the Pokemon. ]

Ah. I can't say I've ever experienced a celebration quite like that.

[Big surprise, right?]

When we get to Canalave, we should make it an object of study at the library. I'm sure there are more among us who can evolve like this.

Wait, never? Even when it was your birthday?

[ Ventus sure remembers there being at least some streamers up when his birthday happened.

...Somehow, though, he's not surprised seeing as she's never heard of those things. ]

That sounds like a good idea. If we're able to find more about something like this, it can help us out a lot.

I did have celebrations when I was a child, but I can't recall having these 'streamers' there.

[HAS SHE EVER HAD FUN IN HER LIFE]

Oh.

[ At least she's been to a celebration, but at the same time...he doubts it was the least bit festive. ]

If they have some around, I think I'd like to show you them -- or party horns. Party horns can be fun too, even when there aren't celebrations or parties.
