Week 9.
WEEK 9 The one thing Team Galactic seems to have done right in this world is perfecting teleportation technology. The device Maylene gave Rey will get all of you back to Eterna City easily; from there, it's a matter of very briefly stocking up on supplies on Sunday before you move westward, away from the massive, imposing form of Mount Coronet and into the deep shadows of Eterna Forest. During your brief stay in Eterna City, it's likely that you'll notice a few things have changed, as far as both the people and the Pokémon go; this holds true as you make your preparations and disappear into the forest on Monday. It's heartening, maybe, to know that once again your actions seem to have made a difference; meanwhile, the trip to Lake Verity looks to be a long one, but it isn't entirely insurmountable. The forest itself is large and dark, covered high overhead with a thick canopy of trees; the Pokémon here are plentiful, which likely cuts down on any inherent creepiness to the place - whether that's a good or a bad thing depends entirely on your point of view. Either way, it's going to be quite the adventure trying to make your way through; here's hoping that your luck continues to hold over the coming week... POKEMON AVAILABLE: PLAINS/FOREST SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week nine of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget that a write-up is due this weekend!] |

...She looks back at Ventus.]
I only have so much space for them to sit, you see.

[ ... Pause, and then he just kind of smiles at her current dilemma. His Togetic comes from behind Ventus to look curiously at the gathering of Pokemon. ]
I know what that's like, but at least you know that they really, really like you.
[ Too bad one can't sit on her head. ]

I thought to keep Duma close while he remembered himself, and now he cannot be without me for a moment. [She laughs, lightly, trying to help scoop him into a .] Hopefully it helps the others, too. I truly am so fond of them all.

Look at how far already he's come...I know it's definitely going to definitely work for the rest. It's helped out with mine too -- keeping them close by and giving them a lot of affection.
[ Ventus picks up Togetic too for a hug, who happily returns it as much as she can. ]

Oh, look at her. Even in a moment I can tell how fond she is of you, you must have been taking such good care of her. [very sincere!! her heart is so full. ven is cute] Did you choose a name for her?
no subject
and likely only thanks to Xehanort's machinations. ]Mhm! I've been trying my best.
[ Which admittedly has been showing as a result, but he looks pretty proud that it's been acknowledged. Emmeryn's too kind... ]
I did. I chose Aster, because as soon as I saw her I thought it fit. Originally when she was Togepi, the top of her head kind of looked star-shaped?

[her eyes are practically sparkling... that's too cute!!! she loves it]
What a lovely choice for a lovely friend. Even though she has grown, I can see where the star had been. It's as though she has a crown.

[ ... He feels kind of a little clever now.
See, he can be pretty good about coming up with names!! Anyway, Togetic sort of just makes a happy noise in his arms around this time. ]
I think she might like you too or like the compliment...or both.

Either one is fine, so long as she is happy. What a sweet creature.

[ Naturally, at this time, Togetic begins to happily respond to Duma's squawks with more noises of her own ... she seems interested in starting up a conversation. ]
By the way, did you name your other Pokemon too? And if you didn't, what names are you thinking of to give them?

My dear noisy friend is Duma, named for an ancient dragon god from the western continent. He was known for guiding his people with sturdy strength.
[She scritches Latona lightly between the ears, and receives no response.]
And this one is Latona. There is a legend about another distant land—the Demon King's influence plagued the continent with monsters until five heroes felled him and sealed him away. It was an arduous battle, not in the least because the Demon King could dominate a person's very soul. Only Saint Latona the sure-hearted had willpower enough to free themselves from the Demon King's control. This name is my prayer for her, that she might find her own heart again soon.
[For now, she's just kind of trying to snooze, though...]
And this one [indicating her Ralts with a light pat] is yet too new for me to have decided. Likely, I will choose another saint or old deity for her as well.

Luckily, this one of his doesn't get that loud. That'd definitely be Klefki for sure.
...Anyway, Togetic seems to not mind Duma's exuberance at all, though. ]
Woah. I don't know much about those tales, but I think that they sound kind of really amazing because you put a lot of thought into them. Kind of fitting too, seeing as Latona looks like she's kind of really peaceful [ because she's snoring, Ventus ] and I bet Duma's pretty strong.

When we are worlds apart, I would not expect you to know these particular stories. Latona is slowly coming into her own. She will live up to her namesake in time, I am sure, and find herself again.
[Latona's ears twitch a little again, but otherwise, she doesn't seem to care.]
Duma is a tough little fellow indeed. He means so well, but he makes trouble, so here I am left invoking an ancient god's name like I am chasing after a child. [But she laughs a little as she says it, friendly.]

[ When Aster starts to enthusiastically wiggle out of Ventus' arms, the blond sets her down and the Pokemon happily comes over to Duma. It seems that she's pretty much a fan of playing ... and the sight's adorable for sure. ]
I think I know the feeling, less saying an ancient god's name involved, but Aurora can cause a lot of trouble, and sometimes she does it because she likes to.
[ But judging by the smile and the way he puts his hands behind his head, he doesn't seem to like even mind it much, if at all. ]
