Week 9.

WEEK 9 The one thing Team Galactic seems to have done right in this world is perfecting teleportation technology. The device Maylene gave Rey will get all of you back to Eterna City easily; from there, it's a matter of very briefly stocking up on supplies on Sunday before you move westward, away from the massive, imposing form of Mount Coronet and into the deep shadows of Eterna Forest. During your brief stay in Eterna City, it's likely that you'll notice a few things have changed, as far as both the people and the Pokémon go; this holds true as you make your preparations and disappear into the forest on Monday. It's heartening, maybe, to know that once again your actions seem to have made a difference; meanwhile, the trip to Lake Verity looks to be a long one, but it isn't entirely insurmountable. The forest itself is large and dark, covered high overhead with a thick canopy of trees; the Pokémon here are plentiful, which likely cuts down on any inherent creepiness to the place - whether that's a good or a bad thing depends entirely on your point of view. Either way, it's going to be quite the adventure trying to make your way through; here's hoping that your luck continues to hold over the coming week... [She just tilts her head at that a little before turning away, hair fanning out behind her as she seems to be moving back toward the stairs leading down.

There aren't any sounds of someone actually descending the stairs, because of course there aren't, but there she goes.]

[Yeah, that's not incredibly unexpected. Oh, well. Follow that ghost!]

[She doesn't seem to be around anywhere downstairs in the foyer, but there is something that wasn't there before sitting on one of the end tables in the foyer. It looks like another wooden box, this one larger than the small jewelry boxes upstairs.

It's got a ribbon wrapped around it, tied in a bow. Like a present, almost?]

[ooh! present box! Monta squeals and tugs at the ribbon, while Vee sniffs at it. Sniff, sniff. What's inside?]

[Hahahaha, a present! It's his and not for Kayneth, he decided this just now!

Michael goes to investigate the box, though he looks around for the ghost once more before starting to untie the ribbon.]

[It sounds like there are a lot of small things inside the box, actually; working it open will reveal a bunch of these, there seem to be enough for the entire group assuming no one's being a total asshole here.]

[Michael seriously considers being a total asshole for several seconds. But that’s unethical.]

Oh, look at these! [He turns to show whoever's nearest.] Are these for us? Thank you!

[It's shiny.

Vee wants to paw at one of the...charm things. Monta seems intrigued...but largely uninterested.]

Shiny, aren't they...?

[He lifts up the box - he's not going to be a selfish dick about this, but people get little dangly things, not Pokemon. They'll only bat them under the furniture.

If he looks around, is there any further sign of the ghost?]

[I mean, nothing alive, Vee, nor does it seem to be food of any sort. Doesn't really smell like much, honestly.]
