Week 9.
WEEK 9 The one thing Team Galactic seems to have done right in this world is perfecting teleportation technology. The device Maylene gave Rey will get all of you back to Eterna City easily; from there, it's a matter of very briefly stocking up on supplies on Sunday before you move westward, away from the massive, imposing form of Mount Coronet and into the deep shadows of Eterna Forest. During your brief stay in Eterna City, it's likely that you'll notice a few things have changed, as far as both the people and the Pokémon go; this holds true as you make your preparations and disappear into the forest on Monday. It's heartening, maybe, to know that once again your actions seem to have made a difference; meanwhile, the trip to Lake Verity looks to be a long one, but it isn't entirely insurmountable. The forest itself is large and dark, covered high overhead with a thick canopy of trees; the Pokémon here are plentiful, which likely cuts down on any inherent creepiness to the place - whether that's a good or a bad thing depends entirely on your point of view. Either way, it's going to be quite the adventure trying to make your way through; here's hoping that your luck continues to hold over the coming week... POKEMON AVAILABLE: PLAINS/FOREST SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week nine of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget that a write-up is due this weekend!] |

This is a Burmy; they're mostly known for taking on cloaks of leaves to keep themselves insulated, but as you can see, mine has...difference preferences, apparently.
[They're so happy though, god.]
no subject
How does someone even go from leaves to trash...
[Seriously...]
...I was going to apologize for leaving that stuff out, but...
[Hand motions.]
no subject
[why is this her life. what did she do to deserve this.
...The Burmy is going to try to hop down to get more trash, but Camilla's grip on it tightens, making it wriggle a bit.]
Once we're in the next city, let's see to it that it's taken care of, hm? I wouldn't want this one to cause you a fright again...
no subject
It's fine, really... [And then he turns to get a better look at the Burmy, or so she called it.]
It's good to meet you, um...Burmy...? [Did you nickname it yet?]
no subject
Camilla shakes her head a bit.]
I really do need to find out exactly what they are so I can give them a proper name...it may be quite relevant, if the field guide is correct about their species.
no subject
You mean, about the leaf gathering thing?
[Sena decides to try and see if he can pet the little thing, since it's presumably happy.]
no subject
[While she does so, the Burmy will gladly accept pets! ...Honestly, she's totally here for this so she might even rub her face into his hand, this stupid, stupid bug--]
Here--this talks about the split evolution that this little darling can take.
[She'll show him the pages, which do indeed talk a bit about Wormadam and Mothin and how they evolve based on their gender and such. And a little bit about the different cloaks, probably.]
no subject
Oh...so it's kinda like Vee? [He motions to the little fox, who's waiting patiently at his side.] Since she could evolve into different Pokemon based on circumstances, apparently...
no subject
[Camilla smiles at that, actually. Burmy is just having a grand old time, but Camilla looks into the book for a little more information.]
From what the guide says, if my little darling is a girl...they'll evolve to change into one of three types, depending on where they last gained their cloak. Their male counterparts have no such thing, but they gain the utility of flight in the process. It's a rather quaint thing, really.
no subject
So...if she keeps collecting trash, she'd evolve into that?
[If the Burmy's a girl, yes.]
For Vee...it's different, I think. There's a few types she could be by location, and someone else mentioned that she could evolve if given special stones, too...I'm not sure what she'd evolve into.
[They have a Glaceon in the party, but Vee didn't seem eager to follow in those footsteps when they had the chance. So he's admittedly rather curious about what they could be.]
