WEEK 9 The one thing Team Galactic seems to have done right in this world is perfecting teleportation technology. The device Maylene gave Rey will get all of you back to Eterna City easily; from there, it's a matter of very briefly stocking up on supplies on Sunday before you move westward, away from the massive, imposing form of Mount Coronet and into the deep shadows of Eterna Forest. During your brief stay in Eterna City, it's likely that you'll notice a few things have changed, as far as both the people and the Pokémon go; this holds true as you make your preparations and disappear into the forest on Monday. It's heartening, maybe, to know that once again your actions seem to have made a difference; meanwhile, the trip to Lake Verity looks to be a long one, but it isn't entirely insurmountable. The forest itself is large and dark, covered high overhead with a thick canopy of trees; the Pokémon here are plentiful, which likely cuts down on any inherent creepiness to the place - whether that's a good or a bad thing depends entirely on your point of view. Either way, it's going to be quite the adventure trying to make your way through; here's hoping that your luck continues to hold over the coming week... ...I used to pretend to be an angel - someone who'd help and guide human souls - so I could get in close and torture them better. I'm just trying to do something like that, but without the turn.

I am familiar with the idea of angels, at least—if not harnesses for children.

But that there is no turn makes all the difference, doesn't it? They will only know that, even against the dulled state of this world, they have been offered aid, after all.

That's a negative twelve points per use, but I honestly think it's worth it. Human children seem irritating.

[Let's just say he hasn't dealt with a whole lot first-hand, we can dodge the question of children in hell]

I suppose you're right. I've just been thinking about all that recently.

Hm. My little siblings were the most darling things in the world growing up, but what I wouldn't have given to get them to stay put once in a while...

[She hums again, more contemplative as she makes way over to Duma in hopes of getting him to...stop staying put...... petition to give every stupid child, draconian or otherwise, who has ever been under emmeryn's care a baby leash]

It must be such a strange transition for you into all this world's uncertainty. The act without the turn.

I guess it has been. Hurting people indiscriminately is so much easier than...whatever this is. Being ethical, I guess. I was doing the same thing before, and it sucked then too, but there were also only five other people to worry about.

And yet here you are putting forth the effort every day despite there being so many more of us for you to mind.
