Week 9.
WEEK 9 The one thing Team Galactic seems to have done right in this world is perfecting teleportation technology. The device Maylene gave Rey will get all of you back to Eterna City easily; from there, it's a matter of very briefly stocking up on supplies on Sunday before you move westward, away from the massive, imposing form of Mount Coronet and into the deep shadows of Eterna Forest. During your brief stay in Eterna City, it's likely that you'll notice a few things have changed, as far as both the people and the Pokémon go; this holds true as you make your preparations and disappear into the forest on Monday. It's heartening, maybe, to know that once again your actions seem to have made a difference; meanwhile, the trip to Lake Verity looks to be a long one, but it isn't entirely insurmountable. The forest itself is large and dark, covered high overhead with a thick canopy of trees; the Pokémon here are plentiful, which likely cuts down on any inherent creepiness to the place - whether that's a good or a bad thing depends entirely on your point of view. Either way, it's going to be quite the adventure trying to make your way through; here's hoping that your luck continues to hold over the coming week... POKEMON AVAILABLE: PLAINS/FOREST SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week nine of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget that a write-up is due this weekend!] |

...While what Jupiter told them a few weeks ago is probably true, Rin thinks it's clear that not all humans become pokemon after they die. It probably takes certain circumstances for that to come to pass, or a strong grudge. Plenty of souls must pass on peacefully or reincarnate or so on, otherwise there would be ghost pokemon everywhere. By comparison, though, that makes a ghost that isn't pokemon stand out.]
So normal ghosts can exist in this world, too...
[Rin looks over her shoulder, back in the direction of the Old Chateau they passed. A little girl in the middle of nowhere? It makes her gut churn, but it also sounds like a classic horror tale.]
If we were back in my city, I'd want to turn around and investigate.

I would, too. She didn't seem to be distressed, but...I'd like to go back there again someday. If we ever have more time to spend.

[It's what she's used to. Michael's motives, on the other hand, are more interesting and beg further questions. It's actually kind of amazing to her what a consistent help he is, in part due to how well he is able to emphasize with citizens and their enemies alike. He's clearly trying to grow beyond his roots.]
You've taken a lot of interest in ghosts, ever since we had that run-in with Jupiter. Do you want to help them?

[It seems like a really deliberately flippant answer; Michael's hand goes to his middle, where he fiddles with one of the buttons on his jacket.]
It probably is my responsibility, on some level, so...
