Week 9.
WEEK 9 The one thing Team Galactic seems to have done right in this world is perfecting teleportation technology. The device Maylene gave Rey will get all of you back to Eterna City easily; from there, it's a matter of very briefly stocking up on supplies on Sunday before you move westward, away from the massive, imposing form of Mount Coronet and into the deep shadows of Eterna Forest. During your brief stay in Eterna City, it's likely that you'll notice a few things have changed, as far as both the people and the Pokémon go; this holds true as you make your preparations and disappear into the forest on Monday. It's heartening, maybe, to know that once again your actions seem to have made a difference; meanwhile, the trip to Lake Verity looks to be a long one, but it isn't entirely insurmountable. The forest itself is large and dark, covered high overhead with a thick canopy of trees; the Pokémon here are plentiful, which likely cuts down on any inherent creepiness to the place - whether that's a good or a bad thing depends entirely on your point of view. Either way, it's going to be quite the adventure trying to make your way through; here's hoping that your luck continues to hold over the coming week... POKEMON AVAILABLE: PLAINS/FOREST SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week nine of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget that a write-up is due this weekend!] |

...You're powerful enough to go up against those guys?
[ He actually looks pretty amazed. ]
no subject
It's part of my job.
[Which...is something classified back home. But again, no one here is from his world, so he's a little more willing to state that fact.]

[ ...Ventus is still in a state of being amazed. Even with his powers as a Keyblade Wielder, he can't imagine himself going up against enemies like that.
Well, maybe if he had help. ]
...You're pretty amazing, Eustace.

Shrug. That's what he'll do: shrug.]
Not as effective here. [He doesn't even have his gun, and he's certain by this point that fighting Legendaries like that isn't the right choice.] Talking to primal beasts...that is Lyria's thing.
[...ah. This time he catches himself.]
She's someone from a crew I traveled with for a while.
no subject
Obviously not without it's own trials and tribulations, but still. ]
She sounds like a nice person. How did you guys meet?
no subject
She is.
[A wholehearted agreement there. Lyria is Very Good.]
We met through my co-workers. The crew that Lyria is a part of helped them out on a mission dealing with a pair of primal beasts. I was on a mission at the time of our meeting, and we were headed to the same place. So I asked for their assistance as well.
[After drawing his gun on them and testing their strength. But strangely, that part is left out... Wonder why.]

Oh, well it's a good thing that things worked out.
[ He thinks it is! People helping each other is always nice. ]
So wait, why do you usually get assigned jobs -- or missions -- to go after the primal beasts? Is it because there's always someone trying to control them like you said earlier... to do terrible things? Or is it sometimes because of other reasons too?
no subject
[This is all such confidential info, but...eh. The Society's a wreck back home anyway.]
They all were under control at some point, yeah. But that was long before us, and most have since become dormant. That said, some primal beasts become volatile when they reawaken. They need to be dealt with before they bring harm to nearby populations.
