Week 9.
WEEK 9 The one thing Team Galactic seems to have done right in this world is perfecting teleportation technology. The device Maylene gave Rey will get all of you back to Eterna City easily; from there, it's a matter of very briefly stocking up on supplies on Sunday before you move westward, away from the massive, imposing form of Mount Coronet and into the deep shadows of Eterna Forest. During your brief stay in Eterna City, it's likely that you'll notice a few things have changed, as far as both the people and the Pokémon go; this holds true as you make your preparations and disappear into the forest on Monday. It's heartening, maybe, to know that once again your actions seem to have made a difference; meanwhile, the trip to Lake Verity looks to be a long one, but it isn't entirely insurmountable. The forest itself is large and dark, covered high overhead with a thick canopy of trees; the Pokémon here are plentiful, which likely cuts down on any inherent creepiness to the place - whether that's a good or a bad thing depends entirely on your point of view. Either way, it's going to be quite the adventure trying to make your way through; here's hoping that your luck continues to hold over the coming week... POKEMON AVAILABLE: PLAINS/FOREST SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week nine of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget that a write-up is due this weekend!] |

[The siren call of all Pokemon, good lord.]
He looks like he'll serve you quite well, however.

[man, this is unfair, first yuri with his sword partner and now ignis with his dagger partner??? this is axe erasure, smh]
Do color me curious as to your fighting style, hm? I'm quite used to working alongside those who use them, but they tend to use them for throwing the enemy off more than fighting up close...

[But he brightened up a little at the question, adjusting his glasses.]
My proficiency lies in speed more than power--I lack the brute strength for greatswords or one-handed blades, and rather obviously shouldn't be using handguns or crossbows these days. I primarily fight with twin daggers, often utilizing magic channeled through them. I'm also a fair hand with polearms.

[Admittedly there's. A bit of a confused sort of noise at the mention of handguns, because what the fuck are those, but. You know, everything else makes sense? It's actually kind of cool.]
I do admit, of those, I'm unfamiliar only with the handguns, but...I do admit, I am curious about how you utilize magic through those daggers. We're used to having such things imbued with some sort of magic and utilizing them like that, but...I suppose I wonder if they're akin to catalysts for such things? Perhaps akin to a tome.
[Really though, this sounds cool as shit? And she kind of wants to fight one day, maybe.]

[Her tone sounds both delighted and excited, honestly. Let's beat each other up with sticks.]

[Like, she's not sure if branches can necessarily be used like he uses them, and she's used to bashing with the biggest thing she can find. Either way, it's good to get a point of reference so nobody's at an explicit disadvantage here, and at least sticks can be broken down if need be.]
