Week 10.

WEEK 10 You've found a few new friends this past week, and along with them, a new town to explore. Granted, there doesn't seem to be much, particularly when compared to the cities you started out in; at the same time, the air is fresh with the scent of flowers and honey wafting on the breeze. Along with the usual Pokémon that can be found in populated areas, it seems that several Combees have made their home here - they can be found drifting along idly, seeming no more capable of true emotion than anyone or anything else, but perhaps they're trying their best. It's a little difficult to say; they are still bees, after all. That said, the world continues to change around you, bit by bit; you still have a long way to go before you've saved everyone, but for the time being you should probably recharge, and take some time to sort through what should happen next. Talking to the locals may net you the information that there's something odd about the meadow north of town; perhaps a few of you should go to check it out... [Well, that much is good at least. Though yeah, Camilla's...definitely noticing the flowers here.]

...Hmm. Dear, hold still for moment, would you?

[She is gonna try to pull a potion out of her bag and see if that helps the flowers out any, at the very least. Hopefully Shaymin's distracted or at least amendable, but this is probably a decent route to try? Hopefully.]

[It isn't bothered by the potion - it kind of lets out a little squeak at first, but it isn't bolting and it doesn't seem inclined to either attack or flip out. It just kind of...stops what it's doing and watches for a moment.

That said, it isn't doing much for the flowers, unfortunately.]

[That Kiryu does have. Soon he has a bottle, trying to cup some in his hands, and crouches to offer ot to Shaymin.

It's kind of adorable, this big and kind of scary-looking man offering water to a small creature with flowers all over]

[...That really does seem like the most basic way to do this, and Camilla just kind of watches for a moment. Though, she does look to the creature with a smile and an empty hand.]

[watching Kiryu water the garden hedgehog is, in fact, super adorable. Emmeryn doesn't have much else to contribute besides making sure Duma doesn't cause a scene, though...]

What a patient creature. I do hope this is enough... What could have caused this?

[...So it seems to have decided that you people are pretty great, actually? As it consumes the water Kiryu is giving it, it seems to be responding by way of...well.

There are suddenly a lot more flowers bursting up from the ground around your feet, all bright and vibrant colors.]

More flowers? So it has control over them?!

It must have some sort of control over them! They're blooming so wonderfully!

[This is probably the dumbest thing to be enthused by, but yoooooooo.]

[The flowers on its little body haven't been doing too much in terms of recovery, but those words kind of get them to perk up a little, weirdly?

It'll finish drinking the water from Kiryu eventually, and sort of wander over to where Camilla's hand's out; after a moment, it kind of bops her hand with its head. Gentle headbutting? Sort of affectionate headbutting.]

Oh, my, how lovely! Did you do this? Thank you. It is good to see you're feeling a little better. Kiryu, what a wonderful idea.

[...duma immediately tries to eat the flowers, again, while this is happening]

I guess it's more like a plant than we thought at first.

[He's actually smiling. What a cute creature.

Bito follows Duma's example at eating flowers, but he has an excuse because he's a bug and likes to chew on trees and stuff. Looks like he was waiting for someone to take the lead on the flower-eating action]

[Camilla is honestly distracted by what's currently happening, really, so the flowers don't get her attention at first?

But that gentle bopping is enough for Camilla to turn her attention to the little creature, smiling warmly and, if a bit thoughtlessly, gently moving that hand a little to just kind of pet it a little? If it'll allow it, of course, otherwise her hand is there for bopping, friend.]

Thank you so much, darling. Why, I'd say you're looking a little better already!

[It must be her imagination, right? Those flowers are still looking out of it, but maybe...]

[So. Much. Pleased squeaking, Zelda. Holy shit you people are the first reasonably sane and not-creepy people this thing has seen in a while, this is a good day?]

[It very much does seem to approve, yes!]

[God, you are just going to get loved on by everyone today, little friend. Quite frankly it's just so lovable that Camilla would want to take it with her? Maybe everywhere???

It looks like it likes you very much, Camilla! [she even laughs a little; emmeryn is so charmed... this is so pure...] Perhaps it might come back into town with you.

Oh, I wouldn't want to take it so far away from it's home! The poor thing seems so shy already...

[Like, it's tempting, and Camilla's words are honestly uncertain. You have no idea how tempting it is to ask if this little bundle of pure, condensed joy wants to come with her so she can hug it and love it???]

Less and less the nearer it gets to you, though.

[okay no she wants to pet it too... she brings her hand in slowly so Shaymin can have a sniff first but if she receives approval then Shaymin is getting scritches]

The poor thing still hasn't bloomed itself, though... Perhaps it was affected by the same thing that wilted the flowers back in the meadow.
