Week 10.
WEEK 10 You've found a few new friends this past week, and along with them, a new town to explore. Granted, there doesn't seem to be much, particularly when compared to the cities you started out in; at the same time, the air is fresh with the scent of flowers and honey wafting on the breeze. Along with the usual Pokémon that can be found in populated areas, it seems that several Combees have made their home here - they can be found drifting along idly, seeming no more capable of true emotion than anyone or anything else, but perhaps they're trying their best. It's a little difficult to say; they are still bees, after all. That said, the world continues to change around you, bit by bit; you still have a long way to go before you've saved everyone, but for the time being you should probably recharge, and take some time to sort through what should happen next. Talking to the locals may net you the information that there's something odd about the meadow north of town; perhaps a few of you should go to check it out... As for your Pokemon, it's definitely not native to Sinnoh - I've got a book that covers every species you can find here, and that one isn't in it. I should know; I can't count how many times I've read through it.
[That's said with a slight tone of tired amusement in her voice; reaching into her bag, Rey pulls out a book with what is obviously well-thumbed pages.]
Did you want to have a look? Might help you get used to the kind of Pokemon you'll see around here. My starter - Golett - also isn't in it, so your situation isn't unique.

I've only seen snow a few times back home, and that when I was little. [Snow he wasn't actually able to play in, but] I doubt it ever got as cold as what you guys went through.

Atsushi gasps, his eyes lighting up when she suddenly pulls out a book like it holds the answers to everything- which, honestly, it probably has a lot more in it than Atsushi knows right now.
He nods and carefully takes the book from Rey, looking over the cover before opening it up.]
Chazuke might not be in here, but it'd be nice to be a little more familiar with the other Pokemon around. I swear I've seen a new one every day I've been in this town, and...not a single one of them really makes much more sense to me than they did when I first got here.

You can borrow for a bit, if you like. I've pretty much got the whole thing committed to memory, so I won't miss it for a few days.
[Besides, she can remember how confronting it was to be in this world with literally no knowledge of what the hell was going on - with any luck, the book will help Atsushi get more comfortable.]
Have you caught any other Pokemon yet? It's pretty easy, once you've done it once.

And...I haven't, actually. On top of trying to figure out Chazuke first, I'm not entirely sure I know how. I know that Pokemon, well-
[He reaches down and unclips Chazuke's minimized Pokeball from his belt, tapping the button in the center so it grows to its full soft-ball size.]
They stay in these most of the time, and you use them to catch them...but I can't help but feel like throwing something like a baseball at a Pokemon isn't the best idea?
