Week 10.

WEEK 10 You've found a few new friends this past week, and along with them, a new town to explore. Granted, there doesn't seem to be much, particularly when compared to the cities you started out in; at the same time, the air is fresh with the scent of flowers and honey wafting on the breeze. Along with the usual Pokémon that can be found in populated areas, it seems that several Combees have made their home here - they can be found drifting along idly, seeming no more capable of true emotion than anyone or anything else, but perhaps they're trying their best. It's a little difficult to say; they are still bees, after all. That said, the world continues to change around you, bit by bit; you still have a long way to go before you've saved everyone, but for the time being you should probably recharge, and take some time to sort through what should happen next. Talking to the locals may net you the information that there's something odd about the meadow north of town; perhaps a few of you should go to check it out... [He looks between his two new "Nins" in confusion.]

Nin left it behind when she evolved, which normally doesn't happen, right? L-like, usually with evolution, everything changes and nothing gets left behind, but this was still lying on the ground, and her ribbon was on it, so I went to pick it up, and that's when it started floating...

[He looks terrified just recounting it.] I-it's like it's possessed or something...

[Right...it's weird, but in a way that kind of makes sense. Or maybe...]

Nin over there may be controlling it somehow.

[That's...actually a reasonable idea. Sena looks at Nin (the Ninjask).]

Um...a-are you piloting that?

[Nin blinks, then shakes her head. Apparently not. That is a completely separate entity, my friend.]

Then I'm out of ideas. [Chalk this as once another unexplainable event] What are you going to do with it now?

I...I mean...I guess I'll let it follow me? If it, um...wants?

[He gives the Shedinja a hesitant glance, and isn't sure whether to be relieved or not with the lack of response.]

It's...part of Nin, right? Or used to be...

...it's kind of weird how it hasn't even reacted to anything.

[If it wasn't for Sena being here and saying otherwise, Kiryu would think it was an inanimate husk. Even he's feeling a bit taken aback by this]

Um.

[It is an inanimate husk. It just happens to be floating and filled with eldritch nothingness from the beyond.]

Yeah. A little too much like how everyone was when we got here...

[Except worse, because it feels like there's some kind of oppressiveness to the way it's staring. Like there's some kind of intent and feeling there.]

You may have to start from zero and get it to regain its spirit. Anything so it's not like...I can't even think of the words of how to say it.

[Because there really is something here, he can kind of feel it. Just like you said, it's worse.

It has been a long while since Kiryu felt so uneasy]

I guess so...I mean...it's a completely new Pokemon, right?

[He tilts his head in confusion.]

Does...possessing an empty husk automatically make it something completely different...?

[He's really not sure whether it's something that Nin left behind or something completely new.]
