Week 10.
WEEK 10 You've found a few new friends this past week, and along with them, a new town to explore. Granted, there doesn't seem to be much, particularly when compared to the cities you started out in; at the same time, the air is fresh with the scent of flowers and honey wafting on the breeze. Along with the usual Pokรฉmon that can be found in populated areas, it seems that several Combees have made their home here - they can be found drifting along idly, seeming no more capable of true emotion than anyone or anything else, but perhaps they're trying their best. It's a little difficult to say; they are still bees, after all. That said, the world continues to change around you, bit by bit; you still have a long way to go before you've saved everyone, but for the time being you should probably recharge, and take some time to sort through what should happen next. Talking to the locals may net you the information that there's something odd about the meadow north of town; perhaps a few of you should go to check it out... POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week ten of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend.] |

It's in the morning that one can find her training her darling group; Camilla hasn't been allowing herself a chance to slouch since they got into Snowpoint, and the many Combee that her team have gone against prove that much. Her Pokemon are out in a group, seeming to take on a small horde with plenty of coordination.]
Arion, you're doing wonderful! Hit them with another Crunch! [Camilla watches as a Combee seems to come from behind while he does that, signalling to her Burmy.] Eda, get behind Arion and use Protect! And Altena, use Feint Attack while it's distracted!
[The coordinated movements between Eda and Altena are definitely enough to ensure that Arion's flank isn't left open by the time the Combee decides to attack. It gets some clapping from Camilla, who joyfully watches on.]
You're doing great, darlings! Keep it up!
[Closer to the evening sees Camilla laying down in the field, her Pokemon all out and most of them curled up near her as she watches the sky turn to dusk. Eda's probably out trying to pick up any trash that's in the field, while Beruka follows the little insect along. Arion, however, gets some of Camilla's amusement as she feels him snuggle up to her with a chuckle.]
Why, sweetheart, you're never usually this cuddly. What's the occasion, hm~? [The teasing statement gets a bit of a groan from the Deino, but that reaction gets a chuckle from Camilla.] I only jest, you know. You can stay as close to me as you want, my darling partner. I promise you that.
[Maybe he's just jealous of how much affection she gave Shaymin, now that she thinks of it. Either way, it's almost cute.]
morning
[However, once he'd finished with that for the day, he decided to focus on training of a different nature; seeking out Camilla by the sound of her encouragement was simple. Today he wasn't in full uniform, the lack of completely frigid weather lending itself to something a bit lighter; purple shirt, black pants, silver gloves. Perhaps of more interest were the two dagger-length sticks carried in one hand as he waited for Camilla to finish, Hemera patiently at his side.]
no subject
Oh, Ignis!
[...She doesn't seem disinclined to stop the affection, but oh. Oh boy, her tone gets a little animated when she sees what's going on.]
My, my, how rude of me to keep you waiting, hm?
no subject
[He spoke with what was perhaps an unusually cheerful smile, a little less reserved than usual himself.]
no subject
Oh, really, I've only been enjoying myself with the scenery and my darling partners.
[That's waved off easily as she begins to put her partners back in their Poke Balls for the time being--none of them have ever seen her fight before, and she'd rather not deal with any sort of interference from them in the process. It's a good thing she decided to keep what she referred to as a 'walking stick' with her, because that's something she easily picks up off the ground.]
But truly...I've been looking forward to this. I trust that even if this is for fun, there's little reason to hold back for either of us...? Save for very obvious things, of course.
[I mean, what's the worst one could do with sticks? As long as nobody breaks a bone or dies, it's totally fine. ...Either way, Camilla's going to stretch a little bit first to get prepared, but oh boy. She sounds hype.]

Oh, but of course. I'm not going to underestimate a man who defends his prince so well, knowing how strong my own retainers are when push comes to shove. And we do need to be at our best for the others, after all; we can see to that once we're all finished.
[Alright, the stretching is done and she's got her stick in position--it definitely sounds like she's got her grip fight on it, at the very least.]
Shall I start us off?

Morning
To that end, he's a little surprised to see Camilla appear this morning while he's sitting beneath a tree with Chazuke in his lap between crossed legs. He watches from the distance as she takes her Pokemon to the center of the flower field, watching as they launch into battles with one another. It's the first time Atsushi has seen Pokemon fighting like this that weren't just wild ones sparring with each other...the coordination they have with both each other and Camilla herself is impressive. Chazuke is paying particular attention, something that surprises Atsushi since he didn't think the Wimpod would even be watching.
When there's an eventual lull, Atsushi cups his hands around his mouth and calls out to Camilla.]
You guys are pretty impressive!
no subject
Why, thank you! They've all been working quite hard to become this coordinated; I'm so absolutely pleased with their progress. And they'll only get better when given the time and care to do so.
[Camilla seems to be more than pleased with the compliment, at least.]
Were you watching for a while, then?
no subject
Y-yeah, we'd been sitting here when you guys showed up...hopefully that wasn't a problem or anything.
[Chazuke chirps quickly a few times in succession before suddenly wiggling his way out of Atsushi's arms, scurrying through the flowers until he gets over to where Camilla's Pokemon are standing. Atsushi watches, confused, as the Wimpod stares up at them with his tail trembling in maybe an approximation of wagging, stars in his eyes.]
no subject
[Oh, that...Chazuke gets a bit of a surprised look from Camilla, though her team seems a little more enthusiastic at seeing him! Well, mostly Eda, who seems to be cheerfully chittering a bit to him, but Arion gives him a tentative sniff while Altena watches.]
My, my. It almost looks as if your darling partner is quite starstruck by what he's seen! How precious! [She chuckles, before looking back to Atsushi.] Have you trained with him, by any chance?
no subject
[Read: they haven't attempted it yet.]
I'm actually surprised Chazuke seems so interested...the only other time we almost got into a battle he ran away from it.
no subject
[...Hmm. You know, all things considered...]
Perhaps he simply need to know that he's in an environment where something terrible won't happen to him, in order to gain some confidence in his skills.
[...There's clearly something unspoken there.]

Evening
Hey! How's it going?
no subject
Oh, quite well, if a tad exhausting...though, I suppose sparring does that to one. I take it you're rather busy yourself, hm?
no subject
[He folds his legs up to sit on the ground near her party, glancing over towards the tree.]
It's this new thing we're doing, kinda a work in progress. You've been sparring?
no subject
[That gets a bit of a response from Arion, the Deino just kind of. Sticking his head in the direction of Michael with a disapproving noise. Either way...]
Ignis came by earlier and rather thoroughly trounced me, to say the least. It made me realize just how much I've missed having something to fight against, without the aid of my darlings--and just how much I've been slacking, as well.
no subject
[He's hurt, Camilla! He's positively wounded!]
He totally kicked your ass, didn't he?
no subject
Well, you didn't ask! I'll be sure to invite you along next time, I promise.
But he absolutely did. The most I could do to him was disarm him, and even then I was at a disadvantage! It certainly helps that he's better at fighting in close quarters than I am...and on foot, as well.
[Still, 10/10 would get her ass kicked again.]

morning;
Wow...you've been really training them well. I don't think those other Pokemon stand a chance.
[ He's calling it early, sure. But he might also be a little biased. ]
no subject
I like to see what they can do as a team, sometimes! It certainly makes them a lot more coordinated than any of the wild ones, that's a certainty. I'm sure if they weren't all occupied, they'd be very complimented.
[For now, they're just kicking some bees butts.]
What brings you over here, dear?
no subject
I was just taking a walk and had these guys with me because I thought it'd be good to get some air for all of us. Then just do whatever calls me to -- before I knew it, I was over here.
[ He smiles a little, putting his hands behind his head. ]
I think I might have them do some practicing later on, though.
[ Or play hide and seek with them. That totally counts as practice. ]
no subject
[Camilla looks and watches as Togetic looks like she's coming over, and Camilla holds her hand out in invitation. If you want pets, little one, she will give them pets dangit.]
Well, I do wish you luck if you decide to. Your darling partners do appear quite capable; perhaps I'll stay by and watch how you train.
no subject
You can come by and watch anytime you like. It'd probably be a little different than this, though.
[ Because not too much fighting, but practicing moves and playing games are definitely going to be a go. ]
no subject
It would be nice to see what others are doing, so we aren't too heavily specialized.
