Week 10.
WEEK 10 You've found a few new friends this past week, and along with them, a new town to explore. Granted, there doesn't seem to be much, particularly when compared to the cities you started out in; at the same time, the air is fresh with the scent of flowers and honey wafting on the breeze. Along with the usual Pokémon that can be found in populated areas, it seems that several Combees have made their home here - they can be found drifting along idly, seeming no more capable of true emotion than anyone or anything else, but perhaps they're trying their best. It's a little difficult to say; they are still bees, after all. That said, the world continues to change around you, bit by bit; you still have a long way to go before you've saved everyone, but for the time being you should probably recharge, and take some time to sort through what should happen next. Talking to the locals may net you the information that there's something odd about the meadow north of town; perhaps a few of you should go to check it out... POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week ten of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend.] |

[ He's a little disappointed that there's no party, but he'd still be up for helping if she needed any... ]
It would be pretty cool to have one...maybe we should have one soon. For now though it looks nice with all of the flowers around--you don't need any help adding to the decorations or anything, though?

[ Ventus brings his hands close together so they're touching. ]
...Smush them a little together and tie something around it?

[She's got a small shitload of flowers in a basket with her, and she sets it on the table with an empty vase for Ventus.]

...Good thing she told him to set them gently because he would've probably rushed it and ruined everything. Anyway, he'll reach for the flowers now, and begin to pick out a yellow flower, followed by a blue flower...
...Are there any green flowers? ]
It sounds like you've done this sort of thing a lot back home.
no subject
Ah, not exactly. I have seen it done, but never much had the opportunity to help myself... As it turns out, I have had plenty of idle time this week to practice the fine details of it. Trial and error, they call that.

[
XENA, WARRIOR PRINCESSAnyway, after Ventus passes her a smile, he will just add a green flower before starting over with another yellow... he is totally going to have a yellow, blue and green flower bouquet to start off with, apparently. ]
Well, I like the way it looks so far so I bet by the time we're done, everyone's going to really like how everything got spiced up a little.

[Just in time, Duma turns around and patters over towards Emmeryn instead of walking face first into a wall like an idiot.]
If I may... Perhaps something like this would help to fill out the bouquet?
[Gently, not letting go of the flower so she might remove it if asked, she sets a sprig of baby's breath in the vase; something small and white and cute against the green stems to add a little texture.]
no subject
Ventus is going to blink, looking at the baby breath's in the vase. ]
That looks pretty nice. All I thought about was adding these ones, but it probably wasn't too much variety.
[ He looks sheepish, but really, he does like the addition. It doesn't draw too much away from the other ones either. ]

You see, my friend, Aqua back at home made these charms for us, and they look kind of like this type of fruit that's supposed to symbolize an unbreakable bond if people share it together. She picked out green for me, yellow for Terra, and blue for herself.
It was pretty neat. I mean, these are just flowers, but it's just the thought that counts, I think.

Of course! Oh, that may be the sweetest thing I have ever heard—a shared snack to symbolize an unbreakable bond... What a beautiful gift from your friend Aqua.
[genuinely, she loves this?? her heart is so full. we've already established that ventus is her son but she's about ready to adopt terra and aqua too tbqh]
I think it is perfectly fine to leave how well the colors match as an afterthought. They mean something precious to you, after all, don't they? So your love will shine through in whatever you do, too, and the result will always be beautiful.

But really, they would all need to be adopted post-haste as they need a good parental figure in their life for realsies. ]
I think you've phrased it the nicest way I've ever heard anyone say so. I kind of really like it, since I think it fits.
[ ...He's smiling as he looks at the flowers. Ventus wonders, wherever they were
in deep shit, they were looking for reminders of what they shared -- still shared together. No, he's sure that they are. ]...And I like to think that maybe they're doing something similar too. Maybe putting something together or taking their charm and holding it close, even if our bonds are more than what's been made for us.

[Duma finally makes his way over on his short stubby limbs and climbs up the bench so he can make his way into Emmeryn's lap where he belongs, and she adjusts to accommodate and pats his head as she speaks.]
The other wonderful thing about those charms is that, even though they carry so deep and important a meaning, they are marvelously simple things. I am sure that when you are far away, whenever they see the color green on something lovely, like fresh grass or a beautiful dress or a child's happy eyes, they think of you.
