Week 11.
WEEK 11 The meeting with Mars could have gone infinitely worse. It's difficult to say that it went well, admittedly, but at least it didn't go as poorly as it could have; either way, her departure leaves you free to look around the Valley Windworks, and it shouldn't take you long at all to find something interesting on the floor. It's bright yellow and glowing, set into the ground like any other normal part of the floor otherwise; stepping on it will cause the world to spin briefly in your field of vision, and when it straightens itself out again, you find yourself standing in the corner of the lobby of a large building you've never seen before. Welcome to the Jubilife TV station. The place seems staffed with Galactic grunts, but they leave you alone outside of just watching you in that dead-eyed, vaguely unnerving way they have of watching everything; they'll let you leave without a fuss at any rate, and it's probably for the best that you get yourself situated for the time being. After all, you've got an entire new city to get accustomed to. The people here seem to be trying to get themselves situated as well, though obviously that's for entirely different reasons. The world continues to change, around them and you both, and overall things do seem to be going in a direction that might be considered favorable. Noticeably, the grunts in the TV station don't seem to be changing at all, regardless of what happens to the other locals; that might be cause for some concern... Anyway, it doesn't take Yuri long to locate a suitable stick and return, holding it like a sword and nodding at Camilla.]

Really, Camilla's actually a little surprised that anyone came out to the outskirts, but when she sees it's Yuri and he basically offers to be her opponent? It's like an early Christmas present, pretty much, and the smile he gets while she watches him prepare is practically joyous.]
Oh, you are far too good to me, Yuri. Just know that I have no intention of holding back!
[...OTHER THAN THE FACT THAT SHE'S NOT GONNA KILL HIM, BUT THAT SEEMS OBVIOUS.
Either way, she is absolutely going to come at him--she's at a triangle disadvantage here and she knows it, so she's not going to start with an overhead swing to keep herself somewhat protected. What she does start with however, is an attempted strike at one of Yuri's sides as she runs up to him, with the full expectation that he'll block. Whether or not he does, though, she's going to have to see how he moves next...]

Yuri laughs at that, but he's ready for her when she comes at him. He does block, but Camilla's strike is definitely a good one, and it'll take him a moment to recover enough to slip back and give him some space.
In the meantime, though, he'll throw a punch aimed for her stomach, because Yuri never got the memo that you do not mix swords and your fists.]

The result, however, is that the punch in the stomach connects and sends her reeling back, causing her to try to get some space, but she's not going to take to that too kindly, despite keeping a smile on her face. So that's how they were going to play, is that it? Well, two can play at that, even if hand to hand is not something Camilla's been trained in and it'll likely be obvious.
She is going to try to strike at him again, though; she starts with a strike that's meant to distract him, aimed at one of his sides, but she fully intends to pull back after she gets the hit in and try a hit at one of his legs.]

He's laughing though, and he's quick to regain his balance. He'll aim for a swing at her side if she doesn't try to stop him first.]

[It's an energized statement, punctuated by another attack; this time, she's aiming for one of his arms, aiming to land a good hit if it connects.]

[That is absolutely what he deserves for trying to taunt her in the middle of battle. The only thing you're supposed to do during battle is yell attack names, obviously.
Yuri backs up, temporarily trying to put some distance between them as he shakes out his arm. Thankfully it was his right; he's left-handed and can swing a sword with one hand so it's not like it'll take the fight out of him. If anything, he just looks excited.]
So that's how you want to play, huh?
[He'll keep his distance and let her come to him this time, looking for any sort of opening she might leave.]

[Going easy on her, pshaw! Screw the fact that she has triangle disadvantage, she practically grins like a cat who got the canary when the attack hits and Yuri seems like he's getting serious. Oh, that's perfect as far as she's concerned--and she's more than happy to bring the fight to him.
The thing about her fighting style, and fighting with an axe of a size like Camilla uses, is that it tends to be rather heavy and focuses more on the heaviest blows possible. On one hand, the stick is much lighter and allows her more defensive capabilities; on the other, it's more akin to using a club at this point, which means her attacks will have wide enough arcs force her to right herself if she's allowed to take the lead.
Especially when she tries to get a strike at him by lifting up the stick and bringing it down, which she does after two side swipes to try and distract him. It leaves her wide open both before the attack, and after since she needs to recover; either way, it's a free shot.]

It's left her open, though, and Yuri uses that moment to swipe the stick at her side again (the same side as before) and then moves to try to sweep her legs out from under her. He's not sure how off-balance she'll be after that attack, but this is probably his best chance to attempt it.]

Camilla should have expected that he'd dodge that, but the strike at her side manages to hit--and it smarts, enough so that she's actually quite a bit off balance from that. The sweeping of her legs, though? That's going to firmly get her to fall on the ground, attempting and failing to try to use that stick of hers to try and steady herself so she can fight further.
It's going to take her a few seconds to get up off the ground, if Yuri allows it, but now's a good time to strike the final blow of this.]
