Week 11.
WEEK 11 The meeting with Mars could have gone infinitely worse. It's difficult to say that it went well, admittedly, but at least it didn't go as poorly as it could have; either way, her departure leaves you free to look around the Valley Windworks, and it shouldn't take you long at all to find something interesting on the floor. It's bright yellow and glowing, set into the ground like any other normal part of the floor otherwise; stepping on it will cause the world to spin briefly in your field of vision, and when it straightens itself out again, you find yourself standing in the corner of the lobby of a large building you've never seen before. Welcome to the Jubilife TV station. The place seems staffed with Galactic grunts, but they leave you alone outside of just watching you in that dead-eyed, vaguely unnerving way they have of watching everything; they'll let you leave without a fuss at any rate, and it's probably for the best that you get yourself situated for the time being. After all, you've got an entire new city to get accustomed to. The people here seem to be trying to get themselves situated as well, though obviously that's for entirely different reasons. The world continues to change, around them and you both, and overall things do seem to be going in a direction that might be considered favorable. Noticeably, the grunts in the TV station don't seem to be changing at all, regardless of what happens to the other locals; that might be cause for some concern... POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week eleven of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget that a write-up is due this weekend!] |

evening
Good evening, Camilla. [And then, because processing why Camilla's waving a stick around takes her a second,] Oh—beg your pardon, I hadn't meant to interrupt.

Oh, worry not. I'm simply having a little bit of fun. [Camilla looks between Emmeryn and Duma for a moment, her head tilting to the side.] Taking a nice evening stroll before it gets too dark, I assume?

[it's literally just like raising a fussy toddler]
Please don't let us get in your way. It is good to see you hard at work as always.

[Camilla doesn't seem to mind, though, and she'll start walking over while using the stick she has as a walking stick, smiling.]
Might I walk with you? Truly, I could use a bit of a break from the city myself; two sets of eyes on the little one may be better than one, hm?

[He hops and jumps a little this way and that as Camilla approaches, politely making space for her while also impolitely being all over the place.]
Of course! I'm always happy for your company. The city is so marvelous, of course, but so different. It's almost overwhelming.

You'll receive little disagreement from me...I can't say I'm unused to the idea of hustle and bustle, but it's so bright. Even in a world like this, it's a lot to attempt to handle.
It's certainly made me thankful for the quieter places, really.

Ah, I knew you would understand if anyone did. The lights never even so much as dim. It's lovely, of course, but perhaps not for so long a time... And everything is built so tall, I swear you could make a palace out of any building at all here. All of it is quite marvelous, but I do rather miss Floaroma.
no subject
Truly, I agree. A castle truly wouldn't be out of place here; I'd think to put it in the place where that station is, really...
[Still, Camilla sighs dreamily.]
You have my full agreement, however. Floaroma has such simpler pleasures in comparison to this city; I would have lived there in a heartbeat.
