Week 11.

WEEK 11 The meeting with Mars could have gone infinitely worse. It's difficult to say that it went well, admittedly, but at least it didn't go as poorly as it could have; either way, her departure leaves you free to look around the Valley Windworks, and it shouldn't take you long at all to find something interesting on the floor. It's bright yellow and glowing, set into the ground like any other normal part of the floor otherwise; stepping on it will cause the world to spin briefly in your field of vision, and when it straightens itself out again, you find yourself standing in the corner of the lobby of a large building you've never seen before. Welcome to the Jubilife TV station. The place seems staffed with Galactic grunts, but they leave you alone outside of just watching you in that dead-eyed, vaguely unnerving way they have of watching everything; they'll let you leave without a fuss at any rate, and it's probably for the best that you get yourself situated for the time being. After all, you've got an entire new city to get accustomed to. The people here seem to be trying to get themselves situated as well, though obviously that's for entirely different reasons. The world continues to change, around them and you both, and overall things do seem to be going in a direction that might be considered favorable. Noticeably, the grunts in the TV station don't seem to be changing at all, regardless of what happens to the other locals; that might be cause for some concern... I'm not actually sure. That's what I'm testing for.

[ Yep!! ... In the meantime, we have two Synchronizing Pokemon here. So... they totally are sharing some sort of emotions or state of being across each other, even before they're statused.

...

Porygon is kind of empty headed, so. ]

[ventulus]

[ Munna is just kind of...actually relaxed but also mostly kind of just sitting there. It's not like he's blank or anything, but he also seems to be just processing things. ]

Oh, well. It looks like nothing big is really happening...

[ He puts his hands behind his head. ]

Did Porygon just recently learn whatever this was?

No, they had this ability since I first captured them... Actually, they have at least three other abilities to change themselves. And their most recent one actually seems to self-restore themselves?

[ Porygon just keeps floating here... oh wait. What f it emulated Munna! It'll float on it's "stomach" now. ]

[ventulus]

[ At that, Munna blinks as Porygon changes somewhat and floats over to them... ]

...Wait, what? That sounds pretty neat!

[ Munna will do a flip mid-floating in the air (how does he even manage it is a mystery?? nah it's probably not) just because he can and watches Porygon now once he's right-side up again. Maybe he expects Porygon to do the same or something similar. ]

It is, actually! ... Naturally we cannot show you unless it were to sustain damage, but it does seem to be quite potent.

[ Porygon is goofy so it does to something similar, albeit possibly more disturbing. Namely, it keeps its legs in place and then rotates its whole body 360 degrees vertically while the legs remain fixed, to end up on its stomach again. ]

[ventulus]

[ Ventus nods and then just...watches what unfolds in front of them.

Munna just flatly stares and kind of just... sits there with an expression that is vaguely like 'well I definitely can't do that'. ]

... This looks like they're just really trying to show off now. But I think it's safe to say Aether can't do anything like that.

[hyruglyphics]

[ I mean, maybe a little, but it's hard to tell. The Porygon might've done that, but it's expression doesn't seem to be showing any ego? That said, she smiles a little more and, ]

Quite possibly... Anyway, maybe we should test one of the others?

[ventulus]

Sure, let's go ahead and do that.

Are you ready for it too, Aether?

[ Aether makes another noise that sounds like an assent and Ventus gives her a thumbs up. ]

[ And Porygon!! Is, after doing a weird corkscrew, now a Psychic Type! They adopt a more mono pink color scheme! ]
