Week 11.
WEEK 11 The meeting with Mars could have gone infinitely worse. It's difficult to say that it went well, admittedly, but at least it didn't go as poorly as it could have; either way, her departure leaves you free to look around the Valley Windworks, and it shouldn't take you long at all to find something interesting on the floor. It's bright yellow and glowing, set into the ground like any other normal part of the floor otherwise; stepping on it will cause the world to spin briefly in your field of vision, and when it straightens itself out again, you find yourself standing in the corner of the lobby of a large building you've never seen before. Welcome to the Jubilife TV station. The place seems staffed with Galactic grunts, but they leave you alone outside of just watching you in that dead-eyed, vaguely unnerving way they have of watching everything; they'll let you leave without a fuss at any rate, and it's probably for the best that you get yourself situated for the time being. After all, you've got an entire new city to get accustomed to. The people here seem to be trying to get themselves situated as well, though obviously that's for entirely different reasons. The world continues to change, around them and you both, and overall things do seem to be going in a direction that might be considered favorable. Noticeably, the grunts in the TV station don't seem to be changing at all, regardless of what happens to the other locals; that might be cause for some concern... POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week eleven of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget that a write-up is due this weekend!] |

Could it be true??]
You...you sure know a lot about them, Michael-san...
no subject
[He says with an earnest smile, and possibly an uncomfortably keen look in his eye. This is fun, he's having fun.]
no subject
I...I hope this isn't a rude thing to ask, but...are you-?
[He accidentally stuck his foot in his mouth talking to the wolf-guy before so he's trying to be careful here, but Michael at least seems pretty thrilled by this conversation's direction.]
no subject
[This is Michael rn]
no subject
...are you a d...demon?
no subject
[He does a weird little clap.]
Good job, buddy, you got there! Yep, 100% demon, born and raised! Except actually, I was neither of those things. That's a very human-centric turn of phrase.
no subject
But...but you look-?
[Like a human, yes, but is it really that out of the realm of possibility for him not to be able to do this?
I mean, have you seen Michael's face and the things it does lately.]
no subject
[that's actually a much nicer way to explain it than what the rest of the group got, Atsushi, he glossed over 99% of why that's awful]
No worries - they're randomly generated. This didn't belong to an actual human at any point.
no subject
That's...
[...
......]
If you're a demon, then...I guess you don't have any of your abilities here, do you?
no subject
I'm curious, though, what abilities do you think I have?
no subject
[Atsushi thinks about that for a moment. What would he peg a conventional demon as being able to do?]
Shapeshift...possess people. Maybe you have some kind of elemental abilities too.
no subject
Ugh. Having my own human body is one thing, but it'd be gross possessing someone. Bet you could feel them wriggling around in there. [full-body shudder, also he's not denying that he could in theory]
no subject
Y-you think so? That's unusual...I would have assumed that'd be something all demons would do more than anything else.
no subject
[.....]
Anyway, I'm not the best representative of the "typical" demon.
no subject
[Well it's...interesting to know, at the very least? And sure does explain Michael's everything.]
So what is it you normally do, then? I mean...why did you go to Earth?
no subject
[He says, like that makes the rest of what just came out of his mouth totally comprehensible.]
I did have to convince Jason not to lock himself in an airtight safe with a snorkel. He's...he's a real character.
no subject
[Hang on give him a moment to try to comprehend a single word you just said.]
So basically you had...human friends you wanted to help, so you came to help them?
[To put it extremely simply, if that's even correct.]

[And there are sure some Pokemon around here touted as being as powerful as gods...]
no subject
no subject
[Very much so.]
I'm sorry all of that happened to you, Michael-san. It's...gotta be strange, being in that kind of position.
[I mean sure Atsushi doesn't have his own Secret Powers(tm) anymore but that's more of a positive in his case.]
no subject
[He sounds a little uncertain, though.]
I mean, it isn't your fault.
no subject
[See Michael, people can be concerned for you.]
