Departure.
ASSISTANCE. As your time in Jubilife City comes to an end and the continued journey to Lake Verity is set to start again, you'll be met on the outskirts of town today; seeing as she heard you're heading south toward Sandgem Town, that's the section of town where you'll find her. She's someone recognizable by those who entered the school this week - she's one of the teachers that's been there during the day. She can't say long, she's quick to explain that much to you in the rambling, roundabout manner of speaking that most of the locals still have, odd and vague and sometimes directionless but generally improving; just the same, she and some of the others have gotten a few gifts together for you before you go on your way - she hopes they'll be of some use to at least some of you, whether they can be used on your Pokémon or simply for research purposes. Sure enough, she has a box with her, and she'll leave it in your care before she moves to return to the school in the middle of town. The box itself seems to be full of evolutionary items of all sorts; there are a lot of them in there - if you need them, they're likely there - ranging from stones to held items to things that are decidedly harder to find. Either they've been waiting to give these to someone, or they have some means of obtaining them here, but either way the woman giving them to you isn't going to stick around long enough to answer questions. However, she does say one thing in parting; it's perhaps surprisingly confident, given how the locals tend to be about things. "Hopefully these will help you defeat Team Galactic for good." [OOC: Welcome to the end of Week 11! Enjoy your evolutionary items, guys. No NPC response will be given to this post, though you can thread here amongst yourselves if you wish; we'll see you tomorrow at noon with a new log for your further adventures!] |

[AH, A DUSK STONE FOR HIM... well he's gotta have a shiny stone too but that's for later, he should probably wait on that, but dusk stone dusk stone]
Huginn! Do you want this...?
[OH SHIT. SHE KIND OF WANTS TO BE A HONCHKROW? god she wants to get big and strong so she caws cheerfully and pokes that thing, starts getting all glowy.... and she is bigger and fluffier now, and also a mob boss????]
Ah, you're going to have to deliver her a thank you note before we leave... here, I'll write it up...

And while Atsushi seems impressed, poor Chazuke is terrified to the point of trying to crawl up the front of Atsushi's shirt, which he reluctantly allows while clutching him through the fabric.]
Guess I didn't have to wait too much longer after all to see an evolution happen.

[He smiles, turning his attention to the much larger Pokemon.]
You were right too about them getting bigger, wow.

[well, she's not as jubilant as, say, Velasquez the Frillish would be, but she does let out a self-satisfied caw as Kayneth pats her on the back.]

Hah...maybe one of these days Chazuke here will be strong enough to take her on!
[The Wimpod lets out a pathetic sounding little noise that sounds like he'd die if he had to.]

Compared to me, you guys have been training a whole lot longer, too. I actually...didn't train Chazuke at all the first month he was with me, so...
[Whoops]

Well.
I suppose no one would have encouraged you to.
