Week 13.
WEEK 13 The trip to Celestic Town is an unconventional one, though it's infinitely faster than walking and doesn't leave everyone feeling woozy in the same way that teleportation does. The town itself is a small one, though it's scenic, and there's a sort of beauty to it that's very rustic in nature; it's surrounded on both sides by mountainous routes that you're welcome to go on to both the west and the east, though it wouldn't be recommended that you venture too far out, seeing as they can be on the dangerous side for those who are unfamiliar with them. It seems Cynthia was right about one thing - there was certainly an incident at Lake Verity that went off almost as soon as you left, another of those deep pulses echoing through the surrounding area; it seems that whatever Mesprit did can be felt by the region as a whole, given that Celestic Town and the surrounding areas seem to have been affected as well despite being so far east of the lake. Cynthia herself can be found throughout the town for the duration, should anyone want to speak to her. Sometimes when left to her own devices, she can be seen in the company of a little girl who looks very similar to herself; sometimes she's with a pair of people much older. Either way, the family resemblance is strong. Lucas is here as well; he's still willing to speak to anyone that wants to, though he seems a bit subdued. Either way, it's been a long, harrowing trip so far; hopefully spending some time here will help to rejuvenate you. POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES SURROUNDING ROUTES: MOUNTAINS/ELEVATED AREAS SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week thirteen of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! She did! I have to admit, I'm surprised that she wound up such a bright looking creature!
[...Like, if she didn't know exactly where Eda kept herself, she would be so huggable? But like. That's so many germs.]
She's really been putting forth an incredible effort, and it seems to have paid off.
no subject
[Which makes sense, they've been on the road training for a long time. They've all earned their newer, stronger forms.]

[Eda, admittedly, does bound up to Atsushi and try to get Chazuke's attention--cheerily waving her arms about and chittering away, and that's about when Camilla notices...Chazuke just...]
Oh my, is little Chazuke alright?
no subject
Atsushi frowns, moreso at Eda since Chazuke doesn't respond much to her chirping himself, just sort of laying in his arms similar to how the Pokemon were acting back in Mesprit's cave.]
I don't really know...he's been acting weird today. I mean...Natto has been, too, just in a different way. She's usually a little more grumpy than that.
no subject
Camilla, on the other hand, seems a little contemplative.]
...That's quite strange, really. It's as if they're feeling things at their most extreme, and there's little to no inbetween. [Camilla looks back at the little group.] Perhaps they'll calm back down and have themselves sorted once it wears off?
no subject
I really hope so. I mean...I'm glad Natto is happy, but she's been running off without me and I'm worried she'll get into trouble. And Chazuke is just...upsetting.
[He pets the top of his head to the tune of a big, heavy sigh.]

...Perhaps you should consider getting your little darling a leash and collar, so you can ensure she stays close. It should at least prevent her from rushing off too far on her own.
[Man, Chazuke really is just...saddening, though.]
Poor dear...I do wish there was an easy way to understand what's making him fret so. It's saddening to see.
no subject
Chazuke, on the other hand...]
Yeah...usually I can kind of tell what it might be? He's always been skittish even before his personality really came back. He's afraid of bird Pokemon, and he doesn't like being on his own very often...but this isn't normal even for him.
no subject
[Camilla isn't sure if she wants to go up and try to pet him a bit, or at least try to coax him out a bit, but...]
...Perhaps it may simply take time for him, to get used to all of these new emotions?
no subject
[Atsushi glances over to Natto, who is still bouncing around like she's had a touch too much caffeine.]
What should we do for them in the meantime, you think?
no subject
I think it may be best to allow them to get this out of their system; if they can do that much, they'll have the ability to calm themselves and adjust accordingly. Of course, within reason; it may be best to step in if they're getting just the slightest bit...out of hand.
[She looks back to Chazuke, though, having looked away to see Natto for a moment.]
Perhaps, for the most fearful...they need the most gentle hand. To be let known that one is there for them.
no subject
[Chazuke finally looks up when addressed, letting out a broken-squeaktoy sound of a reply. He knows, at least, he just feels Bad today.]
I guess it's just hard, having so much happen outside of our control. Feels like these things keep piling up, you know?
no subject
[...]
It's worrying, really. Who knows what the future will hold?
no subject
But I guess...things could be worse, couldn't they?
[Famous last words.]
