Week 13.
WEEK 13 The trip to Celestic Town is an unconventional one, though it's infinitely faster than walking and doesn't leave everyone feeling woozy in the same way that teleportation does. The town itself is a small one, though it's scenic, and there's a sort of beauty to it that's very rustic in nature; it's surrounded on both sides by mountainous routes that you're welcome to go on to both the west and the east, though it wouldn't be recommended that you venture too far out, seeing as they can be on the dangerous side for those who are unfamiliar with them. It seems Cynthia was right about one thing - there was certainly an incident at Lake Verity that went off almost as soon as you left, another of those deep pulses echoing through the surrounding area; it seems that whatever Mesprit did can be felt by the region as a whole, given that Celestic Town and the surrounding areas seem to have been affected as well despite being so far east of the lake. Cynthia herself can be found throughout the town for the duration, should anyone want to speak to her. Sometimes when left to her own devices, she can be seen in the company of a little girl who looks very similar to herself; sometimes she's with a pair of people much older. Either way, the family resemblance is strong. Lucas is here as well; he's still willing to speak to anyone that wants to, though he seems a bit subdued. Either way, it's been a long, harrowing trip so far; hopefully spending some time here will help to rejuvenate you. [ It's say energetically, turning to Bucky to flip to the page with the picture of Eternea's statue for him? ]

[He peers at the images again, but can't really see the resemblance.
Maybe if Steve were here, he'd be able to point it out.]
They seem like important deities.

[ she gestures mostly at the two-legged one. And then pulls up the picture of the statue she has on her Slate? See, it sort of looks similar? Right? ]

There are a couple of things here and there, aren't there? Like maybe someone tried to depict the two of them as one creature without ever having seen them.

[ Interesting, actually! ]

Though I imagine seeing them is a different story entirely.

The same is perhaps true of Regigigas. That temple was for it, after all, and so it is at least somewhat sedentary.

[He frowns.]
Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if it was something similar to what we went through with the Guardians. Probably a little less.... It's probably a different experience in better circumstances.

[ She still... is kind of mad about all that. A useless sort of mad without a real outlet. ]
no subject
[He's still mad about it, too. It was horrible all around, for everyone. Especially the poor girl whose memories were ripped from her.]

In any case... [ She has to let that drop. There's no point in lingering on Uxie. ] It feels like we've come closer to the end now.
[ In this world before Cyrus shows up and throws it all in the trash. ]

Yeah. Maybe it's enough, just like this.
[Too bad we need to get to part 2.]
