Week 13.
WEEK 13 The trip to Celestic Town is an unconventional one, though it's infinitely faster than walking and doesn't leave everyone feeling woozy in the same way that teleportation does. The town itself is a small one, though it's scenic, and there's a sort of beauty to it that's very rustic in nature; it's surrounded on both sides by mountainous routes that you're welcome to go on to both the west and the east, though it wouldn't be recommended that you venture too far out, seeing as they can be on the dangerous side for those who are unfamiliar with them. It seems Cynthia was right about one thing - there was certainly an incident at Lake Verity that went off almost as soon as you left, another of those deep pulses echoing through the surrounding area; it seems that whatever Mesprit did can be felt by the region as a whole, given that Celestic Town and the surrounding areas seem to have been affected as well despite being so far east of the lake. Cynthia herself can be found throughout the town for the duration, should anyone want to speak to her. Sometimes when left to her own devices, she can be seen in the company of a little girl who looks very similar to herself; sometimes she's with a pair of people much older. Either way, the family resemblance is strong. Lucas is here as well; he's still willing to speak to anyone that wants to, though he seems a bit subdued. Either way, it's been a long, harrowing trip so far; hopefully spending some time here will help to rejuvenate you. That said, she's glad to be somewhere peaceful. She's enjoying a walk around town, Pokemon out of their balls. Ichigo has taken the leader role, trying to make sure everyone stays together, but there's a problem. Two of them, actually.
They start at the pond to the south of town. Aoi the Marill has decided that this pond is the best thing she has ever seen, and staying in it in order to use Water Gun on everyone who walks by is the funniest thing she has ever done.]
Aoi, that's not nice. Come on, get out of the pond and stop squirting people.
[She does not cooperate, which means she's squirted Kokoro the Raichu. That's when his adamant nature kicks in. He's decided to shock Aoi out of the water, and electricity and water do not mix.]
Come on, both of you, stop that! You could hurt someone.
[Aya's just going to try and flag down the nearest experienced trainer because this is above her pay grade.]

He sees Aya's waving but he's unsure. Is this something he wants to deal with today? ...okay, he'll bite.]

Aoi decided it was fun to sit in the pond and squirt water at everyone. Kokoro got mad and is trying to shock her, and I don’t think it’s safe for me to touch either of them or the water...

[He can't help but come off as a little exasperated, but at the same time, he understands the Pokemon drama. Some of his own have been acting weird, too.]
Let me see what I can do.
[Normally he'd bring Bolt, his Elekid, in to help, but he's one of the team members acting weird. So he ends up sending out his Mimikyu, Rose.]
Grab the Raichu.
[Better remove the threat of electric shocks, first. Though Rose would rather scuttle over and see what's going on (Eustace seems to forget that she's just naturally weird), she complies and extends a large clawed tendril to attempt to grab Kokoro around her waist and break up the fight by getting her away from Aoi. It's an interesting sight, since you wouldn't expect the little costumed Pokemon to be able to extend such a huge claw out.]

[Aya is very impressed. She never would have thought that a big claw like that would have come from such a small Pokémon. Once Kokoro is safely restrained - though not without some fuss - Aya finally thinks to grab Aoi’s ball and put her back in it.]
Aha, sorry about that. I really don’t know what got into her. She’s never done anything like that before.

[She kneels down and smiles at Rose.]

Don't worry about it. [He pulls out a different Pokeball, eying the pond with a contemplative expression. Does he really want to let Trigger out right now? Because...] Some of mine are acting off too. I'm starting to believe these aren't isolated incidents.

It's no small squirt, either. It's actually strong enough to soak his whole head and shoulders, causing him to sputter and nearly drop his Wimpod from his arms...who, oddly enough, doesn't seem that bothered by the water at all? He looks like he likes it, actually...]

[...she doesn't. Instead, she swims further back, looking like she's laughing.]

[He sputters, pushing his soggy bangs out of his eyes. Well now he's just going to be wet for a while since he doesn't have another change of clothes.]
If she wants somebody to come play in the water with her though, she needs to ask first...

[At least Aya has a towel in her bag? Once she gets that, she finally thinks to put Aoi back in her ball.]

[Camilla seems to sigh a bit, but she looks to her Quagsire with a bit of a concerned look, while he looks up at Camilla.]
Dear, would you be willing to try and rein little Aoi in, please? Her little game has gone on far enough, I wager.
[Haar jumps up a bit, seeming to give an affirmative nod as he...practically skips over to the water to jump in and try to say hi? Camilla's not sure how Aoi's gonna react to that, but. Dang.]

I think I need to thank both of you. Aoi doesn’t usually do anything troublesome, but she got it into her head that spraying people was the funniest thing she could ever do. I think the mirror spooked her enough that she didn’t try with you.
