Week 13.
WEEK 13 The trip to Celestic Town is an unconventional one, though it's infinitely faster than walking and doesn't leave everyone feeling woozy in the same way that teleportation does. The town itself is a small one, though it's scenic, and there's a sort of beauty to it that's very rustic in nature; it's surrounded on both sides by mountainous routes that you're welcome to go on to both the west and the east, though it wouldn't be recommended that you venture too far out, seeing as they can be on the dangerous side for those who are unfamiliar with them. It seems Cynthia was right about one thing - there was certainly an incident at Lake Verity that went off almost as soon as you left, another of those deep pulses echoing through the surrounding area; it seems that whatever Mesprit did can be felt by the region as a whole, given that Celestic Town and the surrounding areas seem to have been affected as well despite being so far east of the lake. Cynthia herself can be found throughout the town for the duration, should anyone want to speak to her. Sometimes when left to her own devices, she can be seen in the company of a little girl who looks very similar to herself; sometimes she's with a pair of people much older. Either way, the family resemblance is strong. Lucas is here as well; he's still willing to speak to anyone that wants to, though he seems a bit subdued. Either way, it's been a long, harrowing trip so far; hopefully spending some time here will help to rejuvenate you. POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES SURROUNDING ROUTES: MOUNTAINS/ELEVATED AREAS SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week thirteen of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! [He did this on purpose and he is not sorry.]
Something Mesprit did, I'm assuming.

I had been worried it was something about the town they were reacting to. Shhh, there, there...
[h-hovers a little over by Audhulma and Jane?? Latona doesn't have enough of a personality to actively do anything about this and now that it's escalated, Emmeryn has to.]
But I do not know that Mesprit would have upset them like this.

[He's done sulking, but he's not just magically okay with Mesprit now.]
Anyway - emotions or whatever, right?
no subject
Emotions indeed, but our Pokémon were so much calmer the longer we stayed in the cave... And Duma has been his usual self, thankfully. [even normal duma is too much duma] If anyone were to be susceptible to that kind of lingering effect, it would be him.

[no he doesn't have any logic to present]

I suppose my idea that something in the town has caused this wouldn't explain why some of the Pokémon remain indifferent, either. Though it would be strange that we wouldn't feel any lingering effects from Mesprit ourselves...
[She kind of—hovers some more, half-reaches for Jane and Audhulma, c-can she hug a ghost? How does she comfort a ghost??? Audhulma is too wrapped up in sobbing about Jane's sobbing for her to be helped, even if Latona could get past her confusion long enough to help.]
There there, now, it's all right—Either way, I hate to just leave them like this...

[Right, other people's feelings. Michael reaches out to put his hand on top of Jane's head - he's got the hang of touching ghost types, after all this time.]
Just let it all out, guys. Repressing that stuff never works. [weird how he gives good advice sometimes and never takes it himself]
