Week 13.
WEEK 13 The trip to Celestic Town is an unconventional one, though it's infinitely faster than walking and doesn't leave everyone feeling woozy in the same way that teleportation does. The town itself is a small one, though it's scenic, and there's a sort of beauty to it that's very rustic in nature; it's surrounded on both sides by mountainous routes that you're welcome to go on to both the west and the east, though it wouldn't be recommended that you venture too far out, seeing as they can be on the dangerous side for those who are unfamiliar with them. It seems Cynthia was right about one thing - there was certainly an incident at Lake Verity that went off almost as soon as you left, another of those deep pulses echoing through the surrounding area; it seems that whatever Mesprit did can be felt by the region as a whole, given that Celestic Town and the surrounding areas seem to have been affected as well despite being so far east of the lake. Cynthia herself can be found throughout the town for the duration, should anyone want to speak to her. Sometimes when left to her own devices, she can be seen in the company of a little girl who looks very similar to herself; sometimes she's with a pair of people much older. Either way, the family resemblance is strong. Lucas is here as well; he's still willing to speak to anyone that wants to, though he seems a bit subdued. Either way, it's been a long, harrowing trip so far; hopefully spending some time here will help to rejuvenate you. POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES SURROUNDING ROUTES: MOUNTAINS/ELEVATED AREAS SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week thirteen of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! [He threads his fingers together, resting his chin on them to watch Sena rather like a cat watching a mouse.
.....he shouldn't be doing this. He wants to, it makes him feel like he's in control for the first time in a few days, but he probably shouldn't.]
I don't think I am either. [Lena is officially out of quiz questions.] I was before though.
no subject
[He scratches at his ear nervously.]
I'm worried about other things and people too, but I guess that's the big thing...?
[That sure is a lot of things to be worried about.]
I...believe I might have as well. It's a little odd...
no subject
Yes. Something is different.
no subject
[His face blanches. Apparently, the thought hadn't occurred to him until you said something, dude. Thanks.]
N-no, not that...
[Why are you like this.]
Indeed. It's different, but...it feels correct, somehow.
no subject
[Because this is fun? Even though it shouldn't be, maybe. It's familiar, then.]
...maybe. [Lena is less sure about these things.]
no subject
[MICHAEL, THIS IS A POOR SUBSTITUTE FOR TORTURING SOULS IN HELL AND YOU KNOW IT.]
Perhaps my opinion is flawed. I've only existed for so long, you know.
[Or well, existed so long as a Shedinja, anyway. Who knows what the hell Shell was before.]
no subject
[NICOTINE PATCHES ARE A POOR SUBSTITUTE FOR SMOKING BUT PEOPLE SURE USE THOSE]
No. How long?
no subject
[Okay, but when is Sena ever not stammering.]
I first awakened in that human town full of flowers.
[So, when they were in Floaroma Town a few weeks back.]
no subject
Oh. I remember that. You were asleep?
no subject
I-I'm worried about my friends, okay?
[better. This is better.]
Mn. It's more like I was...born, I suppose. That is the word for it, yes?
no subject
How do you mean?
Oh. I guess. [Lena has no clue man]
no subject
Er, well, of course I'm worried about my friends back home, but, uh...that's not the here and now you were talking about, aha...
[Hmm.]
It's just that...
I don't remember anything before then, so that must be it.
no subject
[Say something relevant, Sena, geeeeeeeeeez]
I remember hatching from my egg. We were in a cave. It was way before the flower place.
no subject
[Aww. Look at him, he's embarrassed.]
I do not recall hatching from an egg at any point...but regardless, you must be older than myself regardless, yes?
no subject
[He doesn't ask it like he thinks they're not. Just, are they?]
Oh. Yes. [Lena considers this for a moment.] Why do you act so old, then?
no subject
[Sena blinks owlishly, like such a thing should be obvious.]
You think we're not...?
[Meanwhile, Shell hesitates.]
Do I act old? It's simply how I feel. [That they're older than they should be. Like they were here before they were here.]
no subject
[Which he hasn't done much to discourage, admittedly.]
I think you do? I guess I don't really know, though, I haven't talked to that many people.
no subject
It's just that, uh, you sometimes remind me of another friend who's kinda like that, and, um...
[He mumbles, not quite meeting Michael's eyes.]
Andifiwasreallyscarediprobablywouldhavejustranawayhonestlysoumsorry.
[ahahaha.]
Hm. That is something for me to keep in mind, I suppose.
no subject
You know I'm not actually going to do anything to you...?
no subject
[Sheepish expression.]
Yes?
[Why does that sound like a question, Sena.]
no subject
Because I'm not.
no subject
[Hasty nodding.]
Y...yes, I figured...
no subject
Because we're...friends?
no subject
[And stuff.]
no subject
[wow, there it is, you found the one crime he did not do]
