Week 13.
WEEK 13 The trip to Celestic Town is an unconventional one, though it's infinitely faster than walking and doesn't leave everyone feeling woozy in the same way that teleportation does. The town itself is a small one, though it's scenic, and there's a sort of beauty to it that's very rustic in nature; it's surrounded on both sides by mountainous routes that you're welcome to go on to both the west and the east, though it wouldn't be recommended that you venture too far out, seeing as they can be on the dangerous side for those who are unfamiliar with them. It seems Cynthia was right about one thing - there was certainly an incident at Lake Verity that went off almost as soon as you left, another of those deep pulses echoing through the surrounding area; it seems that whatever Mesprit did can be felt by the region as a whole, given that Celestic Town and the surrounding areas seem to have been affected as well despite being so far east of the lake. Cynthia herself can be found throughout the town for the duration, should anyone want to speak to her. Sometimes when left to her own devices, she can be seen in the company of a little girl who looks very similar to herself; sometimes she's with a pair of people much older. Either way, the family resemblance is strong. Lucas is here as well; he's still willing to speak to anyone that wants to, though he seems a bit subdued. Either way, it's been a long, harrowing trip so far; hopefully spending some time here will help to rejuvenate you. POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES SURROUNDING ROUTES: MOUNTAINS/ELEVATED AREAS SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week thirteen of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! I certainly hope she doesn't. It'd be rather concerning if you let her walk all over you like that. You'd wind up completely wrapped from head to toe!
no subject
[...you shouldn't.]
no subject
I can't exactly be too certain, I'm afraid. Not after seeing that display...perhaps you should preemptively wrap yourself up.

[He rests his uninjured hand on his chest, trying to look devastated. It's. not working. but you know what, he's having fun.]
I promise I'll train her into the best Pokémon she can be, you'll see!
no subject
Well, I look forward to see that. Or perhaps, how many wounds you'll get before doing so.

[He points (with his uninjured hand) at Dein Nomos. The sword just blinks, and glances around like "wait, are you pointing at me?"]
Dein Nomos! Sit!
[...you have got to be fucking kidding, does he look like a dog??? The dog is literally right there, why are you doing this to him...
But after a moment of blank staring, Dein Nomos actually... hovers closer to the ground? It's only by a few inches, but that just encourages Yuri further.
(He wasn't expecting his Pokémon to play along, but now he's rolling with it.)]
Roll over!
[ohhhhhh my god what has he gotten himself into—
Dein Nomos just sort of... flops forward without actually touching the ground, and then proceeds to roll in midair, pulling himself upright after the most mechanical roll imaginable.]
Good boy!
[Yuri retrieves his bag and tosses a berry to the still-confused sword, who catches it with his scarf-hand.]
See, I've got my partners all really well trained!
[...Roc takes that as her cue to roll on the ground as well. Give her a berry, Yuri!!!!!!]
no subject
Yuri, shouldn't you be--
[BUT THEN THE SWORD STARTS PLAYING ALONG, AND HOLY FUCK DOES CAMILLA START AUDIBLY LOSING HER SHIT. LIKE, SHE HAS NEVER SEEN A MORE UNAMUSED SWORD IN HER LIFE, AND THAT'S A PRETTY IMPRESSIVE THING CONSIDERING THAT SHE DEALS WITH XANDER ON A DAILY BASIS.
JUST. GIVE HER A MOMENT AFTER ALL OF THAT--]
I cannot believe you actually did that you had a sword performing tricks. You--oh gods--
[She is just gonna die laughing, holy shit??]
I suppose I could admit, that you have some of your partners very well trained.
no subject
I believe you owe me an apology, for doubting my training prowess, Lady Camilla!
[That is said in the most typical posh voice he can manage, all while he tries really damn hard not to burst out laughing.
...Oh yeah, here have a berry, Roc. Thanks for playing along! The Gible watches this wide-eyed, and then after a moment she starts rolling on the ground too, so it looks like she'll fit right in...???]
no subject
Oh, Sir Yuri, forgive me for my utter ignorance and hideous slight against your training methods! I was so deeply and unfairly uncouth, great sir, and I am deeply ashamed of my imbecility!
[She is likewise doing her best posh, princessy impression and is just having such a stupid time with it, good god.]
no subject
Hmm, I suppose I'll accept your apology, but only because you have seen fit to give it in such a convincing manner. Be sure that it never happens again!
no subject
[...Okay, now she's losing it and she likely isn't gonna recover for a bit. Just. Just give her a little while.]
no subject
Oh yeah, you want another treat, right? Here you go.
[He'll drop a berry into her mouth and she munches on it happily.]
Thanks for the help, Camilla. I really will look after this one, but if I ever end up losing some fingers, at least you won't be surprised.
