Week 13.
WEEK 13 The trip to Celestic Town is an unconventional one, though it's infinitely faster than walking and doesn't leave everyone feeling woozy in the same way that teleportation does. The town itself is a small one, though it's scenic, and there's a sort of beauty to it that's very rustic in nature; it's surrounded on both sides by mountainous routes that you're welcome to go on to both the west and the east, though it wouldn't be recommended that you venture too far out, seeing as they can be on the dangerous side for those who are unfamiliar with them. It seems Cynthia was right about one thing - there was certainly an incident at Lake Verity that went off almost as soon as you left, another of those deep pulses echoing through the surrounding area; it seems that whatever Mesprit did can be felt by the region as a whole, given that Celestic Town and the surrounding areas seem to have been affected as well despite being so far east of the lake. Cynthia herself can be found throughout the town for the duration, should anyone want to speak to her. Sometimes when left to her own devices, she can be seen in the company of a little girl who looks very similar to herself; sometimes she's with a pair of people much older. Either way, the family resemblance is strong. Lucas is here as well; he's still willing to speak to anyone that wants to, though he seems a bit subdued. Either way, it's been a long, harrowing trip so far; hopefully spending some time here will help to rejuvenate you. POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES SURROUNDING ROUTES: MOUNTAINS/ELEVATED AREAS SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week thirteen of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! Mm. We need to fit in as much training as we can. [He knows some members of the group aren't into battles, but training doesn't have to be all about offense. Being able to defend is just as helpful.] I actually came out here to work with Rose specifically today, but Pup kind of ended up stealing the show.
[That gets a pitiful ethereal squeak from Rose. She's jealous, though she wouldn't admit it out loud. But her demeanor gives it away anyway.]

I understand that, and you're not incorrect; we're going to continue facing tough opposition, after all. We need to be at our utmost best, if we wish to deal with it.
[Camilla does look over to Rose when she lets out that pitiful squeak, though, her look softening a touch as she removes one of her hands from Pup and offers it to the little one.]
Oh, the poor dear...she probably feels so lonesome and left behind.

[There's an odd calmness in his tone when he says that, but the steely look in his eyes shows he's very serious. It's a bit telling of how he'd prefer to handle confrontations.
Basically, he's low key on team violence. Toward Team Galactic, at the very least.
When the conversation shifts to Rose, Eustace glances toward her. His expression's hard to read, but he almost looks kind of guilty about the whole thing.]
She's like this sometimes. Balancing attention is...tough.
[Rose is happy to have Camilla's attention, though! She reaches out to her hand with her tendril-claw.]

Likewise, Eustace. It would certainly make things much less harrowing for us all...
[Camilla doesn't seem to mind the tendril-claw, actually, when Rose reaches out to her with it; she'll actually go to take it very gently, if she'll allow it.]
I understand that. Many of them do demand quite a bit of attention, and it gets worse with more darlings to take care of. It's simply a matter of ensuring that they all receive equal attention and love; that's how they prosper.
[Camilla looks back to Rose, after she says that.]
You just want to do your very, very best for him, don't you sweetie?

And it's a lot for Eustace to take in. Rather than saying anything at first, he instead reaches up to pet the side of Rose's costume where her body is underneath.]
You do. Sorry, Rose...I don't think I tell you that enough.
[She can be noisy and overbearing at times, but she's strong. And she's only going to get stronger.]

Sometimes that's all it takes, you know? A gentle, supportive hand in a time of emotional crisis...it seems to have helped her, I think.
[It's so heartwarming she's gonna die--]

She's definitely not the only one who's overwhelmed here, either. Between Rose's love and Camilla practically cooing at the two of them, Eustace looks so uncomfortable. What...does he do with this...
He awkwardly clears his throat, like it'll help.]
...Seems like it. [Nailed it. But really, even though he's really bad at feelings, he's glad to see Rose happy.] Thanks for comforting her, Camilla.
[If what he said helped Rose, it's Camilla who helped him get there. He's not going to forget her giving Rose a helping hand.]
