Week 14.

WEEK 14

Sunday is a rough day all around; it's for the best that you remain where you are for the day, for the sake of regrouping and recovering, and perhaps getting some sleep - assuming that any will come. However, as difficult though it may be (and as futile though it may seem) Monday is likely best seen as a day to depart - a day to start to take whatever actions can still be taken, and to assess where to go from here. A good place to start is Canalave City; it's where you were going to meet with Cynthia, and where you were planning on looking into the legends of Sinnoh. The city itself is beautiful, a massive port town split down the center by a large canal system filled with boats and clear water leading out to sea; however, the recent changes to the world have affected this place as well, perhaps making it a bit difficult to enjoy the city in its entirety.

However, the library is here, as are several other points of interest; as difficult though it may be to see the world like this, the trip here will hopefully be worth your while in the end...

CURRENT LOCATION: CANALAVE CITY
POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES
SURROUNDING ROUTES: PLAINS/FOREST / NEAR WATER

MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week fourteen of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget that a write-up is due this weekend!]

Well, the stuff about the lake deities sounded pretty familiar. And I don't know if I get the point of the sword one. It seemed to sort of cut off suddenly?

[where did the pokemon disappear to, story?]

I suppose that one did leave some explanations unsaid, but I hadn't much considered that... I thought it a sort of cautionary tale, and an origin story, but I do wonder whose.
eudaimonikos: (one look from you)

[personal profile] eudaimonikos 2018-09-07 11:37 pm (UTC)(link)
It didn't go anywhere. Human myths generally end with...the creation of the world, or the discovery of fire, or something, right?
divinedescendant: (so you don't have to hold all of)

[personal profile] divinedescendant 2018-09-08 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
Plenty do. Still, we've just as many stories at home that simply end with the traceless disappearance of the divine king's avatar or the kingsgrail or someone or another, and that is the end of that.
eudaimonikos: (out of my body)

[personal profile] eudaimonikos 2018-09-08 01:08 am (UTC)(link)
...the kingsgrail?
divinedescendant: (that cut through your nose)

[personal profile] divinedescendant 2018-09-08 01:53 am (UTC)(link)
Hm? Mila, ancient servant of the divine dragon king, who gave her the title kingsgrail for the blessings she gave the land. Her brother is Duma's namesake, as a matter of fact—the kingshield.
eudaimonikos: (so please come through)

[personal profile] eudaimonikos 2018-09-09 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
So it isn't a Holy Grail thing?

[He'd been about to go off about why all the various multiverses were so Arthurian]
divinedescendant: (and you're down for the count)

[personal profile] divinedescendant 2018-09-09 05:07 am (UTC)(link)
I am not familiar, so...likely not.

[good news, king arthur doesn't even exist in ylisse, it's just dragons all the way down]
