Week 14.
WEEK 14 Sunday is a rough day all around; it's for the best that you remain where you are for the day, for the sake of regrouping and recovering, and perhaps getting some sleep - assuming that any will come. However, as difficult though it may be (and as futile though it may seem) Monday is likely best seen as a day to depart - a day to start to take whatever actions can still be taken, and to assess where to go from here. A good place to start is Canalave City; it's where you were going to meet with Cynthia, and where you were planning on looking into the legends of Sinnoh. The city itself is beautiful, a massive port town split down the center by a large canal system filled with boats and clear water leading out to sea; however, the recent changes to the world have affected this place as well, perhaps making it a bit difficult to enjoy the city in its entirety. However, the library is here, as are several other points of interest; as difficult though it may be to see the world like this, the trip here will hopefully be worth your while in the end... POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES SURROUNDING ROUTES: PLAINS/FOREST / NEAR WATER MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week fourteen of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget that a write-up is due this weekend!] |

And it seems to consider it...
And then decides Rin's tone is scary so it slips back inside the Slate Entirely. W o W. At least you know it's there, probably? Vah Daroh, ladies. But that said, over with Miphanus they seem to beep in understanding - not the dirty part, that doesn't seem that logical but its own claws would be too much. That said-
Yeah, there are the princess's things. Already exposed in there are some of her winter clothes and a bag of mushrooms. Which she seems to be carrying around still. ]

Meanwhile with the backpack... Okay, he's being scolded now, but Rubin knows he's the favorite. Pretending not to understand his trainer, he decides to push what he can get away with and continues to fish among Zelda's belongings until he finds her comb.
Luckily he finds it quite quickly, in fact, because Rin looks like she was about ready to give him a good scolding. Before she can open her mouth though, the Sableye quietly hoots his victory and waves the comb in the air. Rin blinks, confused.]
What are...?
[Hooking the comb under his arms, Rubin climbs up to sit on the desk beside Zelda, twisting the comb this way and that as if deciding where to begin. Realizing his intent now, Rin rises.]
You want to comb her hair? [Huh.] That's sweet... I think.
[Taking that as permission, Rubin makes to start brushing her hair, but Rin reaches out a hand to stop him.]
Not so fast. You'll wake her.

And so they might be.
Just a little bored. ]

Rin makes a tisking sound, reaching over to take the comb out of his hands.]
She smells fine, Rubin.
[Clearly his trainer is not getting his meaning here. One hand on his neck, Rubin lets the other fly to his forehead like a dainty maiden having a fainting spell and twirls around. So... So dizzy! Everything's spinning!]

And shhhhh. If Zelda doesn't smell at all, that's besides the point because Rubin just thinks she should take a shower. Zelda's hair is usually much prettier than this, all smooth and shiny. If he says she smells, than they'll wake her up so she can take one, right? And then after she's all nice and clean they'll get it brushed and—
Oops. Not minding his spinning, Rubin accidentally steps on the empty plate that was left out on the desk, catching the edge. It rattles hard at the sudden weight that shakes it, and the little Sableye loses his balance. Rin hisses his name as he takes a tumble.]
Rubin!

What in the world...
[ As she starts to sit up... ]

[Lightly, Rin rests a hand on her shoulder for a moment to make the princess aware of her presence, so she isn't further startled.]
Rubin made a mess of things, playing around. I should have shooed him away from you sooner.
[And ooh, is that little gremlin going to get a talking to.
Having fallen onto Zelda (and then into her lap when she sat up, making a bigger gap between her body and the edge of the desk), Rubin looks more or less fine, though he's gone strangely still.
There are crumbs... everywhere. All over him! The Sableye whines, trying to swipe them from his body, then tracing over a scuff on the jewel in his chest.
It's really just a few crumbs, and a mark or two, but to him its a big deal. His hands come up to pat his face with little cries of distress (in a pose strongly reminiscent of the bottom right in this picture). Riiiiiin. His jewel is dirty. ;~;]

Oh no, it's alright I didn't mean to doze--
[ She's only barely recognized the ghost on her lap up until he makes a cry of distress, at which she jumps a bit and Zelda reaches out to try to pat his h...ead? Did he hurt it? ]
-Oh! ... Oh, are you alright?

Knowing the reason for it, Rin herself doesn't look too worried. She just sighs, and holds her hands out to take him off of Zelda's hands for her.]
He's okay, just a little traumatized. He's so fussy about appearances...

[ Err.
Okay she sort of scoots the chair back and spreads her arms for Rin to pick up the ghost if she wants? She's just --
... Belatedly realizing she looks like a mess in front of Rin. Her cheeks color more and she just pointlessly dusts herself off a bit. ]
