Week 9.
WEEK 9 The one thing Team Galactic seems to have done right in this world is perfecting teleportation technology. The device Maylene gave Rey will get all of you back to Eterna City easily; from there, it's a matter of very briefly stocking up on supplies on Sunday before you move westward, away from the massive, imposing form of Mount Coronet and into the deep shadows of Eterna Forest. During your brief stay in Eterna City, it's likely that you'll notice a few things have changed, as far as both the people and the Pokémon go; this holds true as you make your preparations and disappear into the forest on Monday. It's heartening, maybe, to know that once again your actions seem to have made a difference; meanwhile, the trip to Lake Verity looks to be a long one, but it isn't entirely insurmountable. The forest itself is large and dark, covered high overhead with a thick canopy of trees; the Pokémon here are plentiful, which likely cuts down on any inherent creepiness to the place - whether that's a good or a bad thing depends entirely on your point of view. Either way, it's going to be quite the adventure trying to make your way through; here's hoping that your luck continues to hold over the coming week... POKEMON AVAILABLE: PLAINS/FOREST SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week nine of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget that a write-up is due this weekend!] |

...There may have been a brief flicker of movement in one of the corners of the room, but on second glance there doesn't seem to have been any source for it - there's nothing there. Maybe just your imagination, it's surely nothing.
That said, now that you're up on the second floor you'll likely be able to hear something - it sounds almost like a female voice, though there aren't any audible words. It's kind of quiet and almost melodic in nature, if a bit tuneless, the sort of vague humming that one does when going about their day.
It seems to be coming from that corridor to the left.]

Oh...er-someone's here? Uh...hello?
[Sena glances at Ventus apologetically, like he's somehow intruding on his fellow traveller's exploration, before timidly going down the corridor.]
We, uh, didn't interrupt anything, did we?
[Meanwhile, Vee seems to be bobbing her head to the humming and padding down the corridor ahead of Sena and Monta. It sounds like when Camilla is cooking or doing things in the kitchen to her, so she thinks it's something familiar and Not At All Something To Be Wary Of.]

You can hear it audibly unlatch from the inside, shifting slightly ajar as it does so.]

So. You've got some way to deal with ghosts, don't you?
[he's got Huginn on his shoulder and Velasquez at his side, because there sure were a lot of ghosts in Eterna and he's been wondering. In any case, he's going to head to peek in...]

Or at least, it was, back when this place was properly occupied; it looks like it likely belonged a child, given the bed being on the smaller side. The bed has a canopy over it, though the fabric is torn and sagging down toward the bed itself; there's a dresser with small items on it - little jewelry boxes and small figures in the shape of Pokémon - that a young girl would probably like.]

Ventus follows close by the other two. ]
Sort of?
[ When the peeking in happens, Ventus stands on his tipoytoes. ]
Let's check the room out a little more.
[ He'll wait for the man to move a little first, though. ]

Um, kinda. Monta can use more fire now and Vee can still bite them, so.]
U..h....I guess...
[Please tell him you mean ghost Pokemon. Not Actual Ghosts.
Speaking of, Sena squeals in surprise when something runs past him, and Monta takes the chance to screech and pounce after it.]
Hiegh?! W-what?!

[ Like, whoa, he'll turn towards the direction of...whatever it was went -- then watch as Monta go after it...or nothing. He finally allows Klefki out of the Pokeball at least. ]
That's weird. Where did it go?
[ Did any of the other doors open up? He'll step away a little from the door they're near. Is the singing still a thing? ]
no subject
...It looks like there may be light coming from that room, streaming out into the hallway from the cracks between the door and the frame.]

Murder seems likely!

[Why can't it be something like dying in their sleep?!]

What are you screaming about?
[Is he like...not at all unsettled by the creepiness...]

W-why would I not be-?!
no subject
Yikes.
Still, Eustace doesn't seem impressed.]
You're making your presence all the more obvious.
[If there are actually ghosts they're probably going to know where everyone is anyway, but hey. Maybe he can get Sena to keep the irritating noise down.
He can try, anyway.]

[Kayneth heads on in to look and see if there's anything under the bed, because why would he look at the jewelry box. it's not like he's a poor or anything]
no subject
The dark space under the bed seems occupied - there are a pair of wide, bright eyes just visible beneath a long curtain of dark hair, and the form of what looks like a girl in a white dress underneath the bed, lying on her stomach with her hands braced on the floor - like she's playing a game of hide and seek with friends, and she's found a hiding spot she likes.
She'll smile at you, if you look long enough. It...isn't a very nice expression, completely unsuiting for the girl's young age.
Hi, Kayneth. You probably wanted to check the jewelry box or something.]
no subject
He lets the covers back down with his expression barely changing.]
Ah, good news everyone, I found the ghost.
