Week 10.
WEEK 10 You've found a few new friends this past week, and along with them, a new town to explore. Granted, there doesn't seem to be much, particularly when compared to the cities you started out in; at the same time, the air is fresh with the scent of flowers and honey wafting on the breeze. Along with the usual Pokémon that can be found in populated areas, it seems that several Combees have made their home here - they can be found drifting along idly, seeming no more capable of true emotion than anyone or anything else, but perhaps they're trying their best. It's a little difficult to say; they are still bees, after all. That said, the world continues to change around you, bit by bit; you still have a long way to go before you've saved everyone, but for the time being you should probably recharge, and take some time to sort through what should happen next. Talking to the locals may net you the information that there's something odd about the meadow north of town; perhaps a few of you should go to check it out... POKEMON AVAILABLE: WITHIN CITIES SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY | FRIDAY [OOC: Welcome to week ten of Azume; feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend.] |

But to that, Atsushi nods.]
Took over a month to figure it out, but...he's called a Wimpod. That's really all I know about him, though.
no subject
[Faster than carefully flipping through pages for a picture, at least.
He crosses his arms thoughtfully. He's pretty much in the same boat as Atsushi in a way, so he'll offer this:]
I still don't actually know what my partner is.
no subject
[Oh thank god he's not the only one]
What does yours look like? Mine...at least I think might be a bug, or a crab...or something kindof like that.
no subject
The Mimikyu immediately makes a beeline for Atsushi, chirping eerily from within the tattered Pikachu costume. New person! New person!]
She's wearing a costume. I haven't seen her true form yet.
no subject
He looks down at the Mimikyu and takes a nervous step back at first, a little startled by the odd chirping, but regains his footing and stays still after a moment.]
Why is she wearing a costume? Do you know?
no subject
[Eustace says that, but it might be hard to believe when a shadowy claw-like tendril slithers out from under that already eerie costume and inches further toward Atsushi and Chazuke.]
My best guess is she needs it. She's a Ghost-type, and doesn't do well in full sunlight. [...] But I think she just prefers to be seen with it on too, since she's pretty attached to it.
no subject
At least until that claw comes out. Immediately Chazuke trills with terror and disappears into the tall grass to hide, only his eyes visible. Atsushi, meanwhile, manages to stay still but only because he doesn't want to offend her trainer or upset the little Pokemon besides.]
G-ghost type? So she's...actually a ghost?
no subject
Cut it out, Rose. You're scaring them.
[The Mimikyu peers back at Eustace, her claw just kind of dangling mid-reach. She's met with a stern glance from her trainer, which is more than enough for her to recoil a bit and eventually slink back with an apologetic whimper.
Satisfied, Eustace continues.]
As far as I can tell, she is. Maybe not the same as Gastly and Duskull, but she fits the criteria.
[Like being creepy as hell, for one.]
no subject
Well, she's...interesting, that's for sure! It's good to meet both of you either way...my name is Atsushi, and this is Chazuke.
no subject
Name's Eustace. [He tips his head toward the Mimikyu.] You've met Rose.
[...]
I've heard talk that you decided to join us, so...welcome aboard.
no subject
I thought that traveling with you guys would be better for me than staying in Floaroma. It's a nice town, and the people there made sure I had a place to stay, but...I can't stay there forever.
no subject
You're not going to get home by staying put. [...] And it would probably sit better with the group if those in our situation stick together.
no subject
[They got to him eventually, but still...what if someone got overlooked?]
no subject
[It definitely leaves a slight sense of unease. Especially since...]
Some of us were with others before all of this, so the thought that they might be out there somewhere is more difficult to push out of our minds the longer this goes on.
no subject
[He's not at all concerned that they can't handle themselves. It's moreso that he doesn't want them getting into trouble hunting him down. Again.]
no subject
[His people are capable, but just...also about as delicate as a brick to a window when it comes to stuff like this.]
At the very least, we're making sure to be more vigilant for people who look like they're not from here. Especially in places with heavy Galactic presence.
no subject
Guess I stuck out like a sore thumb, huh?
no subject
[Well, he had inside info on Atsushi of course, but he's speaking in a broad sense.]
...I probably stick out far more than you if we're going by appearance.
[The ears...]
no subject
[Atsushi smiles a little.]
Actually, I'm curious...what are those about? If you don't mind me asking.
no subject
[Judging by his tone, he doesn't seem very fond of the way that was phrased. There's nothing "about" them; to him, they just are.]
no subject
[AH...Atsushi seems to realize his mistake the moment the words leave his mouth, and he's quick to attempt to pull his foot back out of it.]
I'm sorry, I d-don't mean to offend or anything! It's just...some people where I'm from have abilities that let them change their appearance so I just...assumed...but I shouldn't have, I apologize.
no subject
It's nothing like that. I'm an Erune- we all have ears like this. [...] Doesn't seem like this place has a population of them. Or other worlds.
[It's a little strange to think about, but not much stranger than everything else going on.]
So, what- do people in your world give themselves ears like this with their abilities?
no subject
[Like nobody in particular, nobody at all]
