Week 14.

WEEK 14 Sunday is a rough day all around; it's for the best that you remain where you are for the day, for the sake of regrouping and recovering, and perhaps getting some sleep - assuming that any will come. However, as difficult though it may be (and as futile though it may seem) Monday is likely best seen as a day to depart - a day to start to take whatever actions can still be taken, and to assess where to go from here. A good place to start is Canalave City; it's where you were going to meet with Cynthia, and where you were planning on looking into the legends of Sinnoh. The city itself is beautiful, a massive port town split down the center by a large canal system filled with boats and clear water leading out to sea; however, the recent changes to the world have affected this place as well, perhaps making it a bit difficult to enjoy the city in its entirety. However, the library is here, as are several other points of interest; as difficult though it may be to see the world like this, the trip here will hopefully be worth your while in the end... We've had a few people try to end the world before. This one guy almost got far enough to be a global threat, but his plane was brought down literally two minutes before he could deploy the doomsday bullshit. The other two were working together, and they managed to fuck up a huge portion of China and the United States, but they were stopped before they could be any sort of threat to the rest of the world. So bonus points to them for going after densely-populated areas first, I guess.

So we haven't had anyone succeed yet, but we've had three people so far put forth a really good effort.

Not in any notable detail that I've been made aware of, no. I think--were we given names? I feel like we must have been, but with the way things have been going recently I think my memory's faltering a bit.

Sometimes you don't need someone to be great at it. And besides, everyone's gonna react differently. So maybe "It's gonna be fine, hell if I know how" won't work on some people, but that's really all I needed to hear.

Surprisingly normal. Didn't see any obvious signs of disaster - fire, water damage, whatever. Just looked like everyone walked out one day and never went back.

'Course, I only saw the lobby and one of the front rooms. Could've been anything further back.

Bucky can appreciate that sort of reaction. It's dark, and hell, it sounds like Jake's world is one windstorm away from total collapse, but so it's Bucky's honestly.]

No, it's not. I couldn't do that again.

I just never really thought about it, you know? I'm literally older than dirt, there's a lot of stuff I don't think about anymore. But every time we meet with Cyrus, or Saturn, or...Uxie, even, I tell them they're wrong, and I know that I've pulled half the same shit. I'm sort of a monster. I just don't know why that keeps feeling like new information.

It feels like new information because that shit isn't on your mind anymore. Because you're trying to do better, and you're doing stuff that isn't just designed to fuck people up, and when you see people doing shit like that you actually recognize that it's wrong and you get why it's wrong, even if you don't always think about the fact that you've done it before.

You'd be a fucking monster if you were torturing us, or working against us on some sort of Cyrus-was-right campaign, or...I don't know, making Aya cry on purpose? But you're not, okay?

[Sena mentioned getting stronger, but he's really not sure how to go about it. Battling against wild Pokemon was starting to become a really interesting way to test the teamwork and running skills he'd been teaching his party, but now the wild mons aren't even putting up much of a fight.

He has one of those small rope ladders with him - thinking maybe he'll use this chance to teach Vee and Monta the ladder drill while he figures out how to train the rest of his Pokemon that don't seem to really run much - but the scene with Camilla's team is...
